Just had a great event yesterday, planned by Lisa McGillin of ELG Event Productions - a Celebration of Life for my recently deceased husband could not have been more perfect from any perspective. Another planner had left me hanging with no arrangements, 2 weeks before the event date, but Lisa rode to the rescue. Good deals arranged for full service catering, equipment and furnishings, flower arrangements, momentoes for the guests, terrific bar service - and it was all put together like magic despite the short planing window during this already busy party season of graduations, weddings, etc. Lisa made it special in a hundred ways. I have made a new friend in Lisa at a time when friends mean so much. My husband would have loved every minute of this special celebration!

Lisa did a fantastic job -from full service planning and through day of event services for my wedding on 5/18/19. Lisa's vast knowledge, experience and attention to detail really made me feel like my wedding was in great hands and that things ran smoothly with coordination with all of vendors before, and on day of wedding. I really appreciated all that Lisa did and how helpful she was in assisting me with finding and selecting the reception venue, photographer, DJ, hair & make-up stylists, cake artist, wedding dress, and decor and wedding favors. Lisa McGillin, Bellisamio Event Solutions, provided exceptional service in planning and managing a birthday party for a 100-year old encompassing family members, 65 guests with ages ranging from eight weeks to 100 years old, venue managers and half a dozen vendors all with unique needs and requirements. She communicated concepts and ideas well and made good use of her extensive contacts to facilitate the event. She managed the venue, vendors, and the event with professionalism and flair. Flexible and easy to work with, Lisa identified event-related challenges, addressed them promptly and resolved them quietly. Five out of five stars!

Flawless. 80 people, mid-June, a family event in two locations. The first location indoor with seating, podium, computer display, display tables, and a Marine honor guard. After that, an outdoor backyard BBQ with tables, linens, chairs, bar, bartender, flowers, decorations, food, service, grill, everything. IN TEN DAYS. Yes. Ten days before the big day my family was headed for disaster. Our original planner stopped answering calls and emails. Lisa saved us. Lisa made our occasion exactly right in ten days. Tent, lights, ...
Lisa and the whole team sparked meaning into the smallest details. And big things like parking, delivery, set up, take down? Seamless. 80 people, mid-June, perfection. I can't imagine what she can do with ten weeks. If you meet Lisa tell her Debbie says, "Hi to everyone and thanks again."

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost, I like to have an initial telephone call to introduce myself and discuss their specific requirements in greater detail. After the initial telephone call, an in-person meeting is scheduled to review the requirements and finalize/execute the working relationship.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over twenty years experience in the special events industry prior to starting my own small business.
