Introduction
FALL SPECIALS 5 lessons - 5% off 10 lessons - 10% off 20 lessons - 15% off I live in the Washington DC metro area specifically Arlington Virginia area. I teach online mostly but can do in person. I've been playing and teaching piano for 16 years now. I taught in undergrad at Cornell Piano Society. I stream/perform piano on twitch but I also love teaching. I can teach any skill level but mostly teach beginner-advanced classical and contemporary ranging from movie scores, anime, video game music. Whatever you want to learn you name it and we can work through it together. This also includes ear training and learning how to play by ear. I believe making piano fun is the best way to learn.

Sam has been great to work with online. I played the piano and took many lessons growing up, but I have not played much for years so it has been good to get back to it. Sam has been very patient and persistent -- just what I have needed.

I highly recommend Sam! My 13 y/o son has been taking piano lessons for 2 weeks and we could not be happier. Sam easily connected with my son. He is encouraging and fun, but also challenges him. I cannot believe how quickly my son has learned songs that he loves, while also learning the basics. It has been very easy to schedule and work with Sam, even traveling and being in different time zones. We will continue lessons with Sam for a long time. I might even start them myself. Thank you Sam!

The experience I've had for the past three months has been fantastic. I had no experience learning piano prior to taking lessons from Sam. Their teaching style is both patient and encouraging, making complex concepts easier to grasp. They tailor lessons to my pace, ensuring I feel confident before moving on. The progress I've made on One Summer's Day from the Spirited Away movie in a short time is a testament to their expertise. I highly recommend Sam to anyone looking to improve their piano skills!

I've been taking piano lessons with Sam for a few months now, and I can't say enough good things about him. He is an awesome piano teacher who really knows his stuff and makes learning fun. Right from the start, his excitement about teaching was super clear. He knows how to adjust his lessons to fit your level, whether you're just starting out or already know your way around the keys. What I love most is how patient and encouraging he is. Learning an instrument isn't always easy, but he makes it feel less stressful. He's super reliable and easy to work with. He’s always on time, and he’s flexible with scheduling, which is great when you’ve got a busy life. He’s professional but also really down-to-earth. All in all, Sam is a fantastic piano teacher. I've learned so much and really enjoy my lessons with him. If you're thinking about learning piano or want to get better, definitely go with Sam.
