I bought a new bathroom vanity and the old plumbing wouldn't fit with the new vanity. Nick removed the old pipes and set me up with a new one. He was efficient, thought through alternative approaches for dealing with some challenges, and got the job done. He also pointed out some issues with the work of a previous handyman, and when I asked him if I could pay him to fix that, he encouraged me to ask the previous handyman to do it for free since this is something the other guy should have done right in the first place. This showed Nick's honesty. The price was hard to assess on whether it was high or low since I don't regularly have plumbing jobs, so I can't comment on that.
Brandon was great! I initially had ordered my own parts from Amazon but they never arrived. Brandon picked up the repair parts on the way to my house and the repair was speedy, professional, and correct. Will definitely use again if needed and recommend to any who needs plumbing service.
James hooked up a old copper pipe to our new refrigerator/freezer. The line had never been used. He did a good job. His price was fair and he takes credit cards! $180 was the cost. We had another “pro” give us a quote. $700 and wanted to run new pipes through our cabinetry. Thank goodness we found James. The other fella was a joke.
Eagle Home improvements did a fantastic job repairing a pipe that burst due to faulty labor from my home builder. They showed me the damage, repaired it quickly, and ensured I knew how to properly shut off the water in the future. I will definitely use them again in the future. They were easy to work with and communicated clearly through Thumbtack throughout the process. I wish every service provider were as easy to work with as Eagle Home.
It was a simple repair of a pipe for a new shower installation, and he did it quickly and properly. While here, he also discovered a mistake that a previous plumber had made (they had forgotten to solder a joint) and checked the rest of their work to make sure they hadn't messed anything else up.
Needed shut off valves replaced on stuck washer pipes. Kelvin came by same day as I messaged and changed them quickly. Also answered a few of my random questions about the pipes. Very professional and will use again in the future.
My Construction Services exceeded my expectations. They came same day, arrived early! And gave an honest quote (I had price checked many companies) my disposal is working beautifully. Last min I asked them to fix the pipe to my dryer and a vent to my attic. They did same day and even drove to Home Depot to get a part that they needed. I have found my new handy man service company. Thank you MCS!
Gabriel was knowledgeable about how to deal with my original pipes, and was about to clear the blockage. He was very professional and pleasant
The Rent2Day team are very professional and more importantly deliver excellent service. I'm very happy with the work that was performed and will definitely use them for all of my household handyman service needs.
Julian and his partner were excellent. I had 2 50 gallon water heaters that broke down and he converted it to a 1 water heater system at 75 gallons. He completed the job in less than 3 hours and was very responsive, gave great instructions, and was very knowledgeable. I was also very surprised with the level of service I received given his quote was toward the low end of the other quotes I received. I will definitely use him again. I also consulted with him on a drain issue and he was very transparent on how I could fix it myself to save me money. He even took the time to tighten a couple of sink pipes that were slowly leaking. On a 5 star scale, I would give him 10 stars if I could.
Marvin provided a great value. He replaced over 50 feet of galvanized piping in a 24" crawl space. We encountered some unexpected issues outside the scope of the original project and his quoted price for the additional work was fair and reasonable. Highly recommended.
I had a great experience working with this contractor. Initially I asked for a quote for one part of the home and since he was there, asked he if could provide a quote for other parts of the home including my half bath. The price was right and he answered my questions to my liking, so I eventually moved forward with the contract for the half bath. He offered to help me pick up any materials prior to the project start date, though I was able to have materials delivered or picked up on my own time, but I appreciated the gesture. He and his team arrived the day of the start of the project on time and finished in 2 days. There was a hiccup with the piping in my home that was discovered once they started working but they fixed it without issue. I would definitely recommend this company for bath remodels.
Mr. Edwards repiped my water pipes in my two-story row home. He answered questions that I had with aplomb. His responses were easy for me to understand. He only knocked down parts of the wall that was necessary to reach and replace pipes. He was efficeint and effective in performing the work that he identified needed to be done. There were no surprises. Best of all, Edwards increased my water pressure threefold. I plan to refer him to my family and friends.
My experience with Jon could not have been better. I felt that he was honest and professional, which went a long way since I had no idea about the details of my plumbing problem. (Photo of installed faucet below) also fixed leaking pipe. Response and quote within an hour of my posting and service the next day. Highly recommend, and will definitely be a return customer. Thanks Jon!
The company moved my boiler pipes in the basement to make way for a new exterior door. The work was fast and professional. The price was higher than I expected, however, multiple companies simply refused to do the job, at any price. The company coordinated with my remodelers, which was a great help. Again, many other HVAC companies I approached for an estimate told me that they just didn't do remodeling jobs, only repair and service. Overall, I'm glad I found David and ComfortFactor and I will keep them in mind for my future HVAC needs.
Although the plumber charged me double on what we agreed, I was happy with the overall performance. The job turned out to be much bigger than it appeared initially. He had to cut the cardboard at 2 places, the pipe at 2 places and remove the dishwasher. Overall, for the amount of work and effort he invested, I got good value. I recommend this professional.
Barry was awesome. He came right away and not only fixed the backed up kitchen sink we called him for, but after mentioning we had just moved into the house and bought it “as-is” he took the time to work through a few other things and explain a lot of good maintenance and prevention tips. Small things like taking his shoes off before going over carpet and explaining the pipes and valves without having to ask him to do so showed that he is truly a dedicated professional in his field.
He fixed and replaced my pipe. He is very knowledgable and dedicated and do excellent work. I plan to use him again and will recommend him to my friends and family and anyone that needs quality work done.
Went all out to fix my clogged kitchen pipes. Highly recommend.
The Plumber was awesome, flexible and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this business "Direct Drain Cleaning and Plumbing" for any small or large jobs. We needed pipes and stacks replaced. They did a great job. Replaced the drywall and finished the walls. No leaks after and the walls look awesome. They also give a guarantee. We use them every time for small and/or large jobs and will not consider another company to meet our needs. Thanks James and staff for all you do.
Prompt, timely and innovative. I had to get pipes moved up in the ceiling after I removed a soffit (putting in cabinets right to the ceiling) they found a way to do it in a cost reasonable fashion that also ensures I had options with cabinets down the road.
