Hi just wanted to give a review about the recent technician. Mixing valve was repaired but the only issue is that the technician set up my gas valve at “very hot”. I had to rush into my home today because my flood alarm was going off. The closet where the heater is located was super hot and the water heater was overworking. The exhaust pipe was dripping like crazy. When the technician left after replacing the valve I asked how come the mixing valve didn’t have a gauge and how would we know water temp, he set he used a thermometer and that he would need to increase the temperature so that the output at faucet gives 120 degrees. Not happy with the overall outcome as I now have to deal with a wet closet from all the exhaust from the water heater. Don’t think he needed to set gas valve to “very hot”
