Mr. Leon showed up on time and was ready to go. He put on shoe coverings and had everything with him. He cleaned my gas fireplace and took care of the concerns I had. He showed me stuff about the fireplace I didn’t know and explained everything very well. He didn’t rush and made sure everything was done right. My place looked as clean as when he arrived. I would recommend him.

Hurley was very quick to respond to my request for chimney and fireplace cleaning and came out the next day. He did some repairs to our fireplace that was quality work. Hurley also made recommendations on repairs that could be made to the chimney cap. He was very honest about us being able to hold off on some of those repairs for a year or two. We’ll be using Hurley’s services in the future.

I would not recommend this company. The company offered a special promotional discount of $129 for a chimney cleaning and free inspection. I took off work to be there. The technician arrived on time but upon arrival, tried to upcharge me $350. When I questioned the promotional price, he had no idea about it. When I asked him what company he worked for, he did not know that either. It suspect they use independent workers to answer calls and split the fees, so you have no idea who you are going to get, their level of skill, or warranty of their business. Upon calling his boss, he said he would offer me a fireplace cleaning, not chimney cleaning, for $129. I can clean my fireplace myself so I politely declined. The tech left and then threw garbage (dirty feet scrubs) from his van on my street upon his departure.

We recently purchased a new home and our inspector identified several issues with our fireplace, namely that it needed cleaned, was missing a damper, the flue’s needed caps, and some masonry work was required to fix some cracks on the chimney. ACD took care of all of these issues in just a few hours on a Saturday. The work was fantastic and we can’t wait to use the chimney this fall. I would highly recommend the work of ACD.
