FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our prices are on the website. If you decide to train on a regular basis, at a set time, prices range from $35 - $65/class, depending if you are training once or more a week and 1.5 or 1 hr session. Of course, there is a discount for military, police, and fire personnel.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Our most commonly taught course is in JKD. Most people ask, "Isn't JKD just MMA?" JKD is similar to MMA in that is a hybrid style of martial arts, tailored to the individual, and great for self defense. Both styles often have aspects of boxing, karate, muay thai, and sometimes grappling (BJJ or Judo). This is really where the similarities end. What sets JKD apart and why we like it is that it includes the aspect of Wing Chun and Aikido for the close-range trapping and grappling AND fencing and Escrima for the stick fighting and knife fighting range. Essentially, we want our students to feel safe at all the ranges--not just kicking and punching.
