Tony came out on a Monday to give us a quote to hook up a range, lower three outlets, and add an additional outlet in the kitchen. He came back out that Wednesday with a co-worker and finished the job in about 2 hours. He'll be coming back out tomorrow or Friday to finish the finishing mud coats around the moved outlets. Very reasonably priced at $150 for moving the outlets ($50 apiece), $100 for adding the outlet, and $100 for the range hook-up. He even added a wire for us to install under-cabinet lighting at a later date for free. We are very pleased the speed, quality, and cost of Tony's work - I'm sure we'll use him again!

This is the epitome of a good small/local company. Curtis Home Improvements played a difficult role in our multi-faceted home renovation. We hired them to convert a large window to a set of french doors, build a large custom deck, abandon several electric base plate heaters, have granite counter tops installed in our kitchen, install a tile back splash in our kitchen, custom cut our cabinets and installed a wall mounted microwave, installed a dishwasher, and a sink disposal. They did all this while seamlessly allowing other contractors to come in install a new heat pump, pull up carpets and put hardwoods in one room, refinish hardwoods everywhere else, and my family to remove wall paper and paint throughout the house while I built a fence. In the process, we added on a few change orders: removing, repairing and placing new tile for a bathroom floor where we found some wet rot, skim coating areas on the drywall that were messed up from previous renovations or from removing wall paper. They performed this additional work without missing a beat, and at a fair cost. Everything looks great.

They did a great work, starting from preparing the covering for floors till cleanup. Was very accommodative of ideas and suggestions. Workmanship was excellent, as our design for backsplash had complicated floral design.overall I recommend CCM.

Devon came by and helped us cut both sides of our cabinets so we could fit a new larger stove in the space. It was a very involved process as he had to cut the shelving inside the cabinets too. When he was here we realized we needed another cut above our fridge and he stayed and did that for us too. Great job, fair prices! We will definitely call him back for other carpentry projects!

David and his son do amazing work. We had them do multiple projects in 2 different residences and were thrilled with all of them. We had 2 bars built, cabinets, wine racks, an industrial chandelier built and installed and creative light fixtures and furniture pieces designed and built by them. Vicki walks you through every detail ahead of time and the finished product is nothing short of true art. We could not have imagined how beautiful the finished products would turn out and are completely satisfied. We would recommend David Barrett and Sons to anyone looking for something truly their own to complete their home. Todd and Jodi, Richmond, VA

Goldhand Design brought my vision for a bathroom sink cabinet to reality better than I had imagined it. I referenced photos of six different cabinets, noting features that I liked and didn't like, and Ryan at Goldhand nailed the design. Whenever I was uncertain about what I wanted, Ryan offered definitive design advice. Although I was already contracted with a different business for installation, Ryan's know-how about that part of the project provided valuable insight. From consultation to delivery of the beautiful cabinet, Ryan was enthusiastic, collaborative and helpful.

I've just completed a second story remodel of my home, with nearly every room comprised of built-in cabinetry. I'm pleased to say that our expectations were surpassed, much due to master carpenter Boris Reynolds. Boris has a talent for matching my "custom" needs with design ideas that resulted in fabulous cabinetry. He designed with the use of his computer which showed us exactly how the finished cabinetry would look. When he found design flaws, he would resolve those problems and present only solutions to me, which were always perfect! His eye for detail is unsurpassed. He completed projects on his projected time table and for the price he quoted, and his communication skills are excellent. He even stepped up to complete "problem" projects that previous cabinet makers had created. Boris is extremely professional, conscientious, reliable and easy to work with. Thank you Boris! Ric has helped me with household jobs many times over the last 12 years. He has always been professional, courteous, and competent at whatever he does. He has helped with repairs of every variety recently replacing damaged wood on the side of the house, repairing ceilings after water leaks, and putting up fence boards after tree damage. But in addition to this he is a talented carpenter and has built and installed a wall of bookshelves in my home. Also redid the kitchen cabinets and laid wood flooring in the kitchen. His work is outstanding!

We needed additional book shelf/cabinet space desperately and wanted the finished work accomplished in a very specific way, using the otherwise "empty" space on either side of a living room fireplace. Successfully translating any such requirement into a practical, affordable and pleasing solution is the mark of a true craftsman. Such was our experience with Tony Casanave. From his original design through the many small adjustments, selection of the finest materials, and ultimate accomplishment of the casework, Toney Casanave was approachable, available and accommodating.. He made very clear what was doable and what was not. Everyone has been extremely pleased with the results. We certainly anticipate using his excellent services again for future casework needs.

We had a Mechanical room that was just a storage area. I needed more room to prep food and store all my extra plates and serving peices. My dream was to have a Butlers Pantry that would suit my needs and Chris Fisher of Creative Design Homes did just that. He took my needs and turned them into the most wonderful room to work in, I have floor to ceiling cabinets to store extra large peices and my dessert glasses, which I have 13 shelves full of different sizes and shapes, all sit perfectly so I can take a tray of 8 or 12 glasses at one time. The upper & lower cabinets are also designed to meet all my needs. He built me a seperate closet to house other books, coffee urns etc.... We worked with Chris for approximately 2-3 months he was very professional he procured all permits nothing was done without permits and all was up and beyond code, time including waiting for cabinets to be made and special sink to come in, inspections to be done. He took the time and effort to make my work space set apart from others with attention to the tinest details. The people he brought into our home were true professionals they respected out home and took care not to damage anything. All in all it was a wonderful experience. Before Chris was finished we had another smaller project for him, I knew if I would have waited on this someone else would snatch him up, in my laundry room there was wasted space we designed a cabinet with pull out shelves for my pots which also go from floor to ceiling. He is a very respectful man with a big heart and wonderful ideas and he listens.... and creates the most beautiful rooms ... he is very methodical, his measurements are precise ... he may take a little more time but the end results you will not be disappointed, they are wonderful. I would recommend and use Creative Homes Design without hesitation.

Dan and Bill did a great job renovating our mid-century metal kitchen cabinets. They have great attention to detail, so our cabinets look new. They added extra pieces when things were needed and took the extra steps needed to do a high-quality job. We thought their estimate was reasonable and are very pleased with the final product. If we need them again for another project, we’ll be sure to reach out because they do quality work.

Bryan was super helpful. He got exactly what I wanted at a good price. After he saw the pictures I sent and got the dimensions he let me know he could get it done in a couple of hours. He told me since I was just painting he could just make my cabinet doors out of MDF which worked out great. If you need a custom cabinet guy Bryan is you guy he takes the time to find out what you want and communicates very well with you on the different options you have. Look forward to doing business with you again Bryan.

My wife and I hired Sal through KBC construction for a large indoor job at our home. The job we requested was to remove and replace our entire first level flooring with hardwood, remove and replace our second level carpet with new carpet and also to reface the kitchen cabinets and replace the kitchen counter tops. Sal proposed a very reasonable price for the amount of work we requested. Sal was always the first one at the job site in the morning and either on time or a little early. Sal was very approachable with any questions my wife and I had and was very flexible arranging his schedule with ours. Sal's team was very professional inside our home and worked quickly in order to not impose a burden on our family (which we appreciated greatly). The work that Sal's team produced in such a short amount of time was incredible. However, what was most impressive was his commitment to the excellence of his craftsmanship. There were a few questions and problem areas that my wife and I noticed after the job was completed about a week later. Sal immediately scheduled a day to come back out to our home and fix any and all of our concerns (at no extra charge). I would highly recommend Sal and KBC Construction for any kind of job you may have. Thank you very much
