I had a hard time finding someone reliable to clean out my crawl space of debris and standing water, and I couldn't have been happier with EBRR's work. They were prompt, even when I wasn't, I'd actually spent well over a month having people come out to do a dirty job that no one really likes to do and do well, and it was done perfectly. I just checked it out myself and they've helped me out beyond measure. I've now been able to discover that there's a leak in an internal pipe that created the massive pool of water they removed. On top of that, which wasn't necessary, they cut my grass after having to flatten some while staging. I'd hire them again.
I hired Antonio, of Renaissance Restoration, to do several projects. They included: 1) rebuilding the curb in my shower that was installed improperly by a different contractor; 2) Finishing a half-bath remodel that included refinishing and painting the drywall after they had be damaged from wallpaper removal, installing a vanity including plumbing and trim; 3) Repairing water-damaged hardwood floors and refinishing hardwood floors in the kitchen, dining room, bathroom, hall and stairway; 4) Expanding the kitchen entrance by 2 inches, repairing and refinishing the drywall and wood floor. I was at first skeptical to hire one person to complete all these tasks due to the variety of skills required. Fortunately, Antonio had all the skills necessary to complete the job expertly and timely. His attention to detail and vast experience with carpentry and contracting work in general proved to be invaluable. The end result of each project was even better than I had expected. Needless to say I would hire Antonio again for my next project.
After meeting with four different general contractors, Mr. Marvin Guzman with Baiza Construction, Inc showed his best attitude to take part on a serious complete home improvement we had for our 1956 home. He didn't only provided a quick estimate, But time frame to complete and over all his price. My project was based on a full 2 bathrooms remodeling, plaster walls removal/replacement, insulation, plumbing, electrical, kitchen remodeling and about 2500 square foot of hardwood floor installation. My best recommendation to future hires and families of his great quality work. My contract worth 86k were put on the best hands.
We discovered our master shower was leaking into our dining room due to an issue with the original shower pan. Matt came out and gave a great estimate to repair the shower pan and replace the tile in our shower. During the entire project, Matt took extra care to ensure the house remained clean during the work. Each day he would ensure protection was placed by our front door, stairs leading up to the second floor, and bedroom to prevent damaging the house. At the end of each day, he would remove the protection so the house could be used as if no renovation was happening. Matt completed the work on time and the new shower pan and tile work looks amazing. He was very professional and had a great attitude throughout the entire process. We are extremely happy with the work Matt completed and are planning on using him to finish renovating the rest of our bathroom. We would highly recommend Matt if you are planning any tile work.
They showed up on time to replace a series of irregularly-shaped broken tiles. As the broken towels were removed the job expanded as other tiles were not holding in place due to poor craftsmanship on the part of the previous installers. . Due to this, the labor cost had to increase. The price increase was reasonable and the length of the job on a Saturday was also reasonable.
Andre and his team finished roughly 1600sqft of my basment. This included a bathroom with a custom shower, replacement of patio door, a wetbar and a media/exercise room. Everything was done to code and inspected wothout any issues. Thenproject was much more involved than originally planned, but his crew worked hard and got the majority of the basment framed and finished within a month, with anfew detailed items taken care of soon after. That included work stoppage for inspections. Overall, i'm impressed and appreciative of the work done.
B&G Construction did an amazing job! I had them rip up about 200 sq feet of concrete, regrade the backyard, and then sod the entire area. They were able to do the job very quickly, and the price was very reasonable. It was a pleasure to work with them, and I highly recommend B&G.
Jess Goodman (AMC) replaced two segments of roof on our home that had developed leaks. This is the second time he has worked dierectly for us and he has also twice directed us to other reliable, quality craftsmen for other work on our home and our daughter's home. During removal of the old material, he discovered that the leaks were the result of punctures from falling branches. He saved evidence, contacted us while we were traveling out of state, and completed the work while we were gone. Upon our return to VA, he supported us with a report to our insurance company so that we were able to recover our loss even though work was performed before the insurance company could inspect. It was a pleasure to have work done by a company I could trust when no one was watching.
Julio was great! He provided excellent customer service and did an outstanding job of stretching the carpet to remove bumps. He was able to do it right away and for a great price. Highly recommend.
Cut down trees removed old stumps and cleared yard. Great contractor very professional and friendly, quick to respond.
Dirty Deeds sent out 2 young gentlemen to give me an estimate on getting rid of the renovation debris outside my garage. I loved the price and they actually did the job right then and there and they did a wonderful job, I would recommend the Dirty Deeds Junk Removal company to anyone.
Gerson did an exceptional job fixing our tile. He made good recommendations that we hadn't even thought of. He cleaned up after he the job was completed. He went the extra mile and still charged the same quoted price.
Jeff and Sandy at Olde Port worked with me and the bank on a major remodel of our foreclosed house, we had almost everything under the sun renovated or replaced on this house (See list below). They started work the day after we closed and did not stop until the job was done and done to my satisfaction (which is a pretty hard achievement). Not only did they make quick work, they did everything right the first time and at a great price. They constantly communicated with me throughout this process and I always knew when they were going to be at my house. Their workers were polite, professional, and on-time; they even asked before using the restroom or going into another part of the house to check on things. Our house was built in 1984 and just about everthing including the water heater was from the 80s. We moved in the same day our roof was getting replaced and the workers didn't miss a beat, they still finished the entire roof in 1 day. Olde Port always answered my questions and did not try to up-sell me, they recommened and gave me the products I needed. They even handled our permits needed for the electrical and plumbing work. I would highly recommend this contractor for any job big or small. Major remodel - New roof New seamless gutters New skylight window Replaced all windows in the house with high energy efficient windows Concrete repairs including a new front step New trench drains Repaired trim around garage doors and painted garage doors New doors Landscaping - Removed trees away from house Plumbing - new water heater, fixed toilet leaks Electrical - repaired and replaced light fixtures, switches and outlets

I had found Walter's name on the homeadvisor.com website. After placing a request for service, Walter called immediately and came out today to remove yard clippings, branches, and cement blocks behind our shed. He was very friendly, polite, thorough and the price was excellent. We are going to recomend him to our neighbors and keep him in mind for future work.
It was a pleasure working with Dallas! We had him tackle a huge land clearing/driveway/tree-removal project and he got the job done. He was very courteous and responsive, offered good advice, and was patient walking us through a process that was new for us. I almost didn't hire him due to his distance from us, but that didn't seem to be a problem for him and it didn't impact the job. Glad we didn't let it deter us! Would love to work with him again.
