A real professional! Capable of meeting you at your current level and providing you with the necessary tools to improve. He has a great understanding of guitar music and the context with which it should be played. Finally, Tom has a great understanding of the classical guitar’s tone and was able to teach me how to manipulate the tone to better my own playing! Highly recommend him as a teacher!

I am a raw beginner with guitar and Tom has shown great patience and provided encouragement. He started me out with the basic building blocks - left hand and fretting the notes and now is starting me with right had techniques. His assignments have challenged me and keep me practicing on the "edge," which is the most effective practice. I am building confidence and making progress.

Tom works very well with his students in making sure that we progress as much as we can. He pushes us to be the best musicians we can be.
