Ruth and Saul of S.A.V. were responsive by phone, email, and text. Overall, they were very easy to work with and extremely professional. They provided an easy to understand quote and were out within a day of providing their quote to fix a roofing issue that occurred as a result of a wind storm. Additionally, they were able to fix a fence that had been knocked down when a car drove into it by replacing two posts and reattaching the length of fence that was salvageable, replaced some dry rotted boards on our deck, and fixed two gates that had become inoperable due to warped boards. After a week of searching for a contractor to commit to fixing our roof following the storm, I was pleased to find S.A.V. to be so willing and able to get to work. Their quote for the roof and other projects was beyond reasonable. I will definitely use them again and in fact asked them to provide me with some additional quotes for other projects that I would like have completed in the near future. I would recommend Ruth and Saul to anyone looking for a contractor that will answer your questions in a timely manner, is easy to work with, and will quote you a fair and reasonable price for your projects to be completed. They did great work and I will be back.

I was skeptical of this thumbtack but it was the best experience ever! S.A.V construction was about 2 hours late due to some unforeseen accident in VA and DC, but they did notify me of the situation. Did I mention that this work needed to be done ASAP in an effort to go to closing on the house. They rearranged their schedule to accommodate me and the work was superb! Definitely will use them again

Ruth was great to work with. Her and her team at SAV came out to assess the damage to my apartment building’s roof (and they showed up on time!) and gave a reasonably-priced estimate with Scope of Work. She communicated very well during the entire process and delivered, as promised, no matter how late in the day/night. Me and the rest of the Condo Board were very satisfied with their work and look forward to using them for future projects!

SAV replaced two flat roofs. They are very professional and kept me in the loop with scheduling in-between rainy days. Ruth is on top of communications and explained the scope of the project to me. The finished roof is top quality. Neighbors noticed and they were recruited for other work. Highly recommend this company.
