What an amazing first experience with Thumbtack. I was knee deep in a bathroom renovation and it wasn't going well. Contacted Jose at D&B Drywall and painters and what a God's send. They arrived on time and well dressed. They put down plastic everywhere they walked. He took over the project completely at a fair price point. What craftsmanship. He took care of floor tile install and it was not one mm off! Then the drywall and paint in two bathrooms. Both done with excellence. I nearly cried when I saw the finished rooms with trim and paint. There are a lot of people on Thumbtack, but why would you choose anyone else? 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. They are a hand of aces!

I needed power washing of a house I was selling. The call to Jose of D&B Drywall and Painting was on very short notice. Jose looked at the house the next day and gave me a quote that seemed reasonable given the short notice and what was asked. Jose arrived on time and quickly went to work. He and his team cleaned the vinyl siding on our house very well - more than we hoped. D&B Drywall and Painting is top-notch in my opinion. They are reasonable in price, very customer friendly, arrived on time and did a very professional job. Very highly rated, possibly the best I've seen in ten years!

The app only allowed me to select 3 highlights but D&B Drywall and Painting exceeded all of our expectations. We have a 3 level townhouse (approximately 2100 SF) that needed all rooms except 2 recently refinished bathrooms repainted, some caulking (ceilings, walls, crown moulding, baseboards, fireplace, all doors). Also had some minor exterior painting Quality work: the end results exceeded our expectation, quality materials were used and the service was remarkable. The house looks brand new. They fixed many imperfections (cracks, dents, etc.) in the walls and ceilings. The basement stairs baseboard needed major surgery and the end result was beautiful. Punctuality: the team arrived and was prepared to start each day at 8:00. Professionalism: The owner responded within an hour of receiving our request for estimate and was able to start the job within one week, possibly sooner if our schedule permitted. The crew was very punctual every day and courteous. I work from home and during meetings you could barely hear them. Promptness was not sacrificed in lieu of quality. Given the tremendous amount of work the team performed, they worked swiftly and efficiently. Value: We received multiple quotes for this job (4), two of which were very close in price. This one was just slightly higher (less than 3%) but D&B quote included all doors so the ultimately the compared price was lower since the other contractor only quoted “necessary” doors (those that were in average/good condition). Genuinely, I don’t think I can say enough positive things about this contractor. My husband and i thought carefully during our down-select process and more than happy we made the right choice!!
