Thank you for helping us with training our Shiba Inu's puppy Kumo. He is doing great.
They know exactly what they are doing when it comes to dog training! Excellent customer service they got me started right away and all I had to do is give them a little bit of his intel on what I was looking for. Great experience overall!!
Posh Pet Training has been a life saver in my home! Paula has helped us understand our cat's behavior and we are on our way to quelling the aggressive behavior one of our cats is expressing upon the new kitten. She is kind, funny, and really spends the time needed to get to the root of the issue. I'm so glad I've hired her! She really loves every animal in your home and wants everyone to live in harmony (humans and pets alike!) I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, friendly trainer!
I had never used a pet sitter before and was desperate to find someone to watch my 3 dogs on the 4th of July so we could attend our nephews wedding in Pa. (who knew how difficult that would be!) Ali watched my 14 year old blind/deaf dog and my 8 month old and 8 week old puppy. She was so attentive and even sent me pictures while we were gone! 2 weeks later we had her come back for training of the babies and they went crazy when they saw her... it was like she was a member of the family. I have done a lot of internet searching for dog training and am amazed at what Ali was able to accomplish in just one hour. I cannot recommend her enough, she is wonderful!!!
Our miniature dachshund puppy Bailey is the 1st dog that I have struggled with obedience & listening to commands. My wife & I had nicknamed her Wild Thing-totally unruly. I looked at all the other alternatives & just didn't get the feeling that their classes would help. I saw the Living Social ad, did my research, saw Josh bio (Army vets) & decided to make the investment. I was impressed with Josh's training & methods & believe that this is money well spent.
I was referred to Brandy at Citizen K9 Dog Training after adopting my 5 month old German Shepherd from a local rescue. My boy, Kota, was all male, puppy, and not well socialized; It was play time, all the time. I emailed Brandy the Friday I adopted him because I didn't want to waste time getting him into obedience classes and working on his issues. She assured me that my concerns were not uncommon and that she could absolutely help me/him. Kota also had severe car anxiety. I dreaded taking him with me when I went somewhere because of the excessive drooling and car sickness. Brandy help me understand that his issues were reversible with a little patience. She is amazing at what she does and the dogs love her. Not only did my boy learn basic obedience and now has good social skills, but I learned a few new tricks myself. Kota is free of car anxiety and loves to go places with me. The caliber of training that you receive at Citizen K9 Dog Training is first rate. The group atmosphere allows for many distractions for the dogs to learn to focus solely on you; building your confidence and bond with your dog. I could not have asked for better training for my Kota.
Andrea is not only a certified trick dog instructor, has a dog obedience instructor diploma and is an AKC Evaluator for S.T.A.R. puppy, Canine Good Citizen, Advanced CGC and Urban CGC, she also is great with all kinds of animals. By teaching classes as well as competing with her one dogs in varies dog sports (Agility, Obedience, Rally-O, Flyball, Barnhunt, Tricks, Tracking and K9 Nose Work ) she improves and offers the most effective and suitable ways to teach people how to train their dogs. Her training method is based on positive reinforcement and with that technique she can train any animal even cats. She continuously keeps education herself and has taken several training workshops and seminars: *Dr. Ian Dunbar's Sirius Dog trainer Academy *Growl class- workshop for Reactive dogs *Science-based Dog training *Kyra Sundance dog trick workshop * Reliability & games workshop I have the pleasure to teach, train, compete with her what also turned in to a great friendship and I only can say that anyone that can get her services can call themselves lucky.
We got a new puppy & we enrolled her in puppy classes at one of the local pet stores. They quickly decided that she was too rambunctious for them to teach. I didn't know exactly what to do until I saw an advertisement for oceanfront dog training. I called Lesa right away & she came to our home promptly. Within just a few minutes she had taught our girl a new trick & some basic obedience. Well it was a done deal for us right then. Lesa came to our house each week & taught us how to train our girl Biba. She gave us homework & more importantly she gave us the confidence to teach our pup. When I would have trouble Lesa would jump right in & show me what I was doing wrong & she would praise what we were doing well. We set up group events so we could still socialize Biba & we went out to different locations so Biba wouldn't tire of the sameness. Lesa is an amazing person & trainer. She has a special bond with animals & it's evident as soon as meets them. She has the ability to put owners & pets at ease. She speaks dog!! Biba loves her & if I ever had a question she would be the first one I call. I have a new dog that is a rescue & Lesa will be the one I call when training is called for. I have recommended her to people in the grocery store, people in the pet store & absolutely here. You cannot go wrong with Lesa. I love these group activities we're doing this winter too.
Stephanie was fantastic with my dog Adi. She clearly knew what she was doing and she was more than happy to answer all of my questions. Training a dog is more than the pet it is so much about the owner and how they behave and she helped me to understand that. I would recommend her to everyone I know with a dog.
Sarah was wonderful great teacher looking forward to further training.
Heather spent some time with my dog Hayley in the early spring. She worked with Hayley just a few hours on her sit, down and recall. Heather had a special connection with animals, especially dogs and horses. She is very knowledgeable and patient when working with them. She loves what she does and you can tell from the results at the end of her training sessions. I even learned some things myself!! I would highly recommend Duality K9 for obedience training and behavioral training.
I have a genuine interest in helping clients and their pet ,I address the whole dog not just basic commands .Every dog is different and I believe training should be geared to each pet ,pet owner and their particular life style. In short I don't use a cookie cutter approach with my training.

We are committed to providing the highest level obedience training and behavior management services possible. Our goal is to assist families with their canine companions who are a bit more challenging, as well as those who are simply interested in obedience training. At True Canine Companion, we are focused on building positive and appropriate relationships between families and their canines; focusing on how we, the humans, interact with, challenge, set boundaries, and find balance within ourselves, in order to create a life-long bond with not only our canine companion, but with the world. Building respect and trust is the basis for all of our training and behavior programs. Each program begins with a relationship building seminar that allows us to set you and your canine up to succeed.

Working with hounds requires patience and consistency. I believe it positive reinforcement and a positive outcome when teaching. I also believe it is just as important to teach the owner/handler how to train their own dog.
I train all types of dogs, but mostly, I train people too. It's not all about the dog's behavior. It is also the people's behavior. I communicate the way dogs think and the way they want to live. The people can explain the behaviors that they need help on breaking, and I help solve the problem. As long as the client is willing to be consistent with their pets, everyone will be happy.
