I cannot say enough good things about Bree!! She honestly saved our wedding after having to evacuate from Hatteras Island on the day that was to be our planned elopement.
I was still in shock, having to pack up everything our family had just unpacked, and wasn't sure the wedding would even take place. Since we live in Maryland, we started looking for places in Virginia Beach and were fortunate to find one that we could go to finish out our vacation. Once we got there, we started looking into getting married there and went to to courthouse to get the marriage license. We could have just gotten married at the courthouse, but we really had our hearts set on a wedding at the beach. I went on Thumbtack and looked up wedding officiants and found Bree. After messaging her and sharing our story, she promptly informed us that she was available and would be honored to perform our ceremony wherever we wanted. She spoke with us over the phone and she even offered to take pictures with her phone since we had to cancel our photographer and videographer.
Our wedding was on August 22nd at sunset and Bree was amazing!! She had us full out some questions beforehand to better understand us and made sure to include my 19 and 22 year old sons as well as my husband's 10 year son and our dog! She calmed our nerves and put so much thought in making sure our wedding was perfect. She is an amazing person, as well as a great officiant that we are so glad to have crossed paths with. She was a joy to work with and we highly recommend her!! 10 stars if we could!!! âââââââââ

While thinking about how to make our wedding special, my husband and I decided to hire an officiant and get married on the beach. Thatâs how we found Bree, and Iâm so glad we did! She customized a script that truly reflected our love story, and our family was so touched by her words. She arrived on time and was incredibly patient and understanding, even when we made some last-minute changes. Everything turned out beautifully, and she played such an important part in making our day perfect!

Bree was absolutely wonderful! We are planning to have a wedding in NC next year with a friend "officiating" and wanted to make it legal this year on the same date. We found out the courthouse wouldn't go outside that day a few days before we'd planned to go. As soon as we found out, I contacted Bree since I had family who really wanted to be there. She was able to work with our schedule and arrive at a time that worked. I ended up having a very bad reaction to a new medication shortly before she arrived. While I was indisposed, she spoke to my now husband about what we wanted and had him look over what she had prepared. She was incredibly patient and waited for me to be able to stay in the room, letting me know that I could take my time. She then explained everything to me and we made some adjustments to our plan (we'd wanted to do it in our backyard and I ended up needing to sit on the couch). She had also let us know she could shorten it a bit and did so in order for me to be able to make it through. She took the paperwork to the courthouse and then dropped it back off at our home, letting us know what she was doing at each step of the process. She was so incredibly sweet and patient - feeling horrible during our ceremony was obviously not what I wanted but I am so glad that she was our officiant because her tranquility really helped keep me from having an anxiety attack about how everything was going. There are a lot of things I would change about our ceremony if I could do it over, but Bree officiating would not be one of them. I highly recommend her!

My marriage was a bit different than âregularâ weddings. My husband is incarcerated. After the first interaction with Bree, I knew she was the one I wanted to marry us. She was very knowledgeable and open minded to my husband and I. If she didnât know the answer to a question, she went and found the answer. She never made us feel any different than any other couple. We had to wait a few months for the opportunity to be married again, and she was the first one I contacted! We were set to be married over the phone due to circumstances, she opened her home to my mother in law and I and I loved the ceremony she chose for us. She is so very kind hearted, and I love her energy. I definitely will be recommending her to any and everyone that I know that is engaged. I love how she said everyone should have the chance to be married no matter the circumstances. Thank you so much Bree for officiating for my husband and I. We are eternally grateful!!
