In 1999, we opened the first yoga studio in Richmond with the simple belief that yoga is for everyone. That has always been and will always be our guiding principle. We began Glenmore in our home in 1997 and have expanded three times to meet our client's needs. Our current space occupies 4,800 sq. ft. in Glen Eagles Shopping Center, 10442 Ridgefield Parkway, in the far west end of Richmond, Virginia.
We have two large, carpeted yoga studios, massage treatment rooms, a lounge with a reading and lending library, and a gift shop offering a range of products to support your yoga and meditation practice as well as music, jewelry and gift certificates for all of our services.
Yoga is for everybody and we offer a wide variety of classes to meet your needs. Whatever your age or stage in life, Glenmore has a class for you, from our ageless classes designed by Nancy Tatum, a gerontologist, to gentle and meditative yoga, children's yoga, prenatal classes and more challenging classes like yoga moves or ashtanga flow. Regardless of the class level, our approach is therapeutic. Class size is kept small to allow our instructors, trained by Glenmore, to give each person individual attention.
