Coach X has been an integral part in the improvement of my overall health and fitness. I really like that he offers group and personal training options. I take group 2x per week and personal sessions 2x per week. Not only have I lost weight but I feel great! 😊 His style of teaching is firm but fun. He has a great personality and provides just the right amount of support to get me to the next level. His workouts are challenging but effective and never boring. I've been to just about every gym in Richmond and several personal trainers with a fraction of the results I've received in less time from Coach X. He's amazing and I highly recommend him to anyone who is serious about improving their health and ready to do the work!
I started 3 weeks ago with FSR Fitness and I must say it was one of the best choices I've made. My trainer, Craig, is the best. He pushes me just enough to make me work harder but not too much where I would quit. The trainers are friendly. They motivate you to do your best. They encourage you so if you can't do something it's ok, you will be able to, just keep trying. Pricing is awesome. As a single parent, I don't have much to spend on other things. This fits in my budget perfectly.
Zach has been a grest trainer. He has pushed me to do more than I would do on my own. I would reccomend him to anyone who is willing to work hard and listen to his advice.
First, Let me just say I love the service Glatter Fitness provides so much I did a video testimonial! I am in the best shape of my life, I am happier, healthier, and stronger. I never really put much stock in strength training (weights and kettlebells) as a method to lose weight for fear it would make me "bulky" but it is actually quite the opposite. I have lost weight, I am stronger than I ever thought possible, and have lowered some health risks, which before starting were an issue for me. Michael always answers questions I have rather knowledgeably. He is far more knowledgeable than some other personal trainers I have encountered and can even provide me a source for the information he gives. If you are willing to put forth the hard work, actually come and work out, and follow his food guide, you will make improvements. I went from doing push ups on my knees to being able to do one hand push ups. I can lift weights in excess of 150 pounds. I have a smaller waist size and far better endurance. As far as accessibility, he does not limit when you can come, which I love. He has 5 class times throughout the day so it allows for flexibility. I don't foresee any time in the future where Glatter Fitness will not be in my life. When I say I am in some of the best shape of my life, I mean it in every way possible. I owe all this to Glatter Fitness!
CJ has been awesome trainer to work with. I asked her to do outdoor workouts and she was completely accommodating. What I like best is she builds her workouts each time to increase the workout intensity without making you dread your workouts. They're always fun and I actually look forward to working out (crazy I know!) After 3 weeks I'm already seeing improvements in my conditioning and my strength. Grade A+++ I highly recommend CJ for anyone looking to start working out again or looking to supplement their regular gym visits.
When you think about some personal trainers you think about what you see in movies, reality shows, and TV in general. What I mean by this is a hulking and aggressive figure who barks instructions and who reminds you more of a drill sergeant than a trainer. When I had my first session with Jacob my mind was instantly put at ease as his soft spoken demeanor and encouraging methods had me doing 2 or 3 more reps than I thought were possible. When taking breaks in between sets Jacob and I talk about our lives and passions and we have built a relationship stronger than just trainer and client. Since I started working with him I have lost multiple inches on multiple problem areas of my body and I am beginning to see the results I have craved for so long that I thought were lost forever. Without writing a novel singing Jacobs praises (which I could do as he is awesome!), I will just say that if you are in the Richmond metro area and are looking to shed some pounds for whatever reason please go see him at Crunch Fitness on Brook Road in Lakeside and I promise you that you will be happy you made that decision every day. He has given me some of my health back as well as my confidence so thank you Jacob!!!
Excellent trainer. I have been working out with Andrew for the past few months. He has helped me achieve the results I wanted. Additionally he has been very flexible with my busy schedule. He crafted a custom training program which was in line with my limited schedule and goals. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family
I'm happy to review my experience with Linda Schoorens, my Fitness Trainer. I can truly say this is one of the best things that have happened to me. It’s been 2 years since I joined the Silver Sneakers Fitness Program. This is the first time I’ve ever been involved in a fitness program, and motivated enough to continue this regiment because it leads to good health and longevity of life as evidenced by my boost in energy, weight loss and increased flexibility. Ms. Schoorens is caring, patient, and willing to give individual help and encouragement. She prepares each session in a different manner, while incorporating various games, making our sessions interesting and fun. She studies and shares updated material that promotes healthier bodies through diet and exercising. In addition to our body workouts, we are also challenged to exercise our brains and memory as well. I feel our classes should actually be called “holistic classes”, because Linda works with us from the top of our heads to the bottom of our feet and to the tips of our fingers. I’m continuing to learn more about my body through her knowledge and training. Mrs. Schoorens' classes are The Best Ever! She’s a “God Sent” trainer for me and to everyone in our group! Kimberly Roane is my personal trainer. I trained with her 6 times over the course of 3 weeks, as well as the at home workouts she provides me with. Over the course of a short time, she has made me comfortable with working out with her. Her bubbling personality makes you excited to get the work out done (even though she is busting your butt) lol. I would recommend her to anyone & i can't wait to continue when i get back from school!!
I love Mia!! She as an excellent personal trainer. She was very professional and personable. Mia was also very accommodating, being that I have two small children. She adjusted workouts to suit my needs and abilities. She was very supportive and encouraging. I would definitely recommend her as a personal trainer!
Jeremy is basically the raddest trainer ever. The one on one workouts are fun, challenging, and exciting. He's been super understanding with scheduling and all around, it's obvious that his priorities are to help me get in awesome shape, specifically catered to my desired outcomes! He rocks.

I’ve worked with several trainers and have never achieved such dramatic results as I have working with Laura Mae. I began strength training with her consistently seven months ago, after recovering from a broken neck and gained over 60lbs. I work with Laura Mae 3 times a week for an hour each session. Laura Mae has experience when working with clients whom have suffered injuries or have special needs and limited ability. Laura Mae separates herself from other trainers. She plans an individual workout for each client in order to cater to their own needs and goals. Laura Mae is consistent with her on going education to keep at the top of her profession. She is always punctual and rarely has she had to alter an appointment time. After your initial assessment each workout plan is created ahead of time. She changes up exercises on each appointment, so sessions never become boring or repetitive. Laura Mae knows that physically working out is only part of getting into shape. She is also an expert at having a healthy diet and good nutrition. Additionally, she will help you create a healthy eating plan. She has me weigh in once a month and takes body measurements to keep a record of my progress. Oh yes, there will be progress! Seven months ago I was in a Large size and now I’m THRILLED to report I am in an extra small!! It’s taken a lot of time and hard work but it is so much more efficient when you have the support and motivation from an exceptionally educated, vastly knowledgeable and the success rate of Laura Mae Lucas! Linnard at Kinetix Performance Training is the best! I worked out there for six months before moving out of the area and before getting married. At a time when I could have been stressed out from planning a wedding, moving out of state, and changing jobs, Kinetix helped keep me grounded and focused. I really liked Linnard's holistic approach to helping me get healthy. He helped me work out harder, stay motivated, and he helps me eat better. I looked forward to getting in there every week, it was my happy place and I miss it!
Josh was my personal trainer for about a year and a half. He trained me twice a week. I have had a number of trainers over the years, and I was in the best shape of my life when I worked with Josh. He pushed me hard, but appropriately so. Not only did he focus on my physical fitness journey, he focused on my eating habits as they related to the work I was doing in the gym to ensure I was eating enough to gain muscle and see progress. Josh has a good personality for the work he does - he's confident but not arrogant about it. I'd highly recommend him.
