4.5 Drapes were there before we arrived and looked good. The only hitch was that they had told my wedding coordinator that they would come back on Monday to pick up the drapes (Wedding was on Saturday) which kind of stressed us out but we just thought we'd deal with it later. But then at the end of the wedding the vendors came and took it down which was great, but we could have done without the added stress.
Everything Kimby and her staff did for me on my wedding day was Excellent! The décor I envisioned was executed perfectly, all staff members were adaptable, everybody displayed a positive and passionate attitude. My guest are still raving about how great my wedding was.
Marylee provided me with a bridal bouquet, as well as bouquets for my bridesmaids. They were beautiful and looked amazing in all my pictures- I couldn't have asked for a better set of flowers at such a great, affordable price!
Aaron is worth every penny. My wife stressed about the wedding all they way until we were introduced to him. He eased our minds with how much he was willing to handle. From coordinating the reharsal dinner, the wedding vendors the day of, and MC'ing the whole reception. You are a saint! All the possibilities we could think of that would go wrong or would not go our way, went right out the window. The wedding day was absolutely perfect. The schedule he helped us put together was perfect. Everything was on que and he did not miss a beat. Through out the whole process, we not only gained a perfect wedding coordinator, but a friend. Mrs. Martin planned and decorated for my bridal shower, wedding ceremony, and reception with only less than 4 months notice. Any idea you have she can take it and create it into something even more beautiful than you ever imagined. My mom and I hired Joanne for my bridal and bridal party make-up. She was such a pleasure to work with! She offered a trial run so we could play around with different colors and looks which really took a lot of the stress off because I knew exactly what to expect. She was extremely communicative throughout the whole process. On the day of she really took her time and made sure everyone looked perfect. I couldn't have been happier and received so many compliments. I would highly recommend her for any make-up needs!
Booking Mirna was the best thing I ever could have done. I knew I didn't have the budget to afford a $1,000 day-of wedding planner. I knew I needed someone newer in the industry, who wasn't charging triple digits. I stumbled across Mirna, and booked her. There's always that slight fear in the back of your mind when you're booking someone on the cheaper side, and/or who is newer to the industry. People say "you get what you pay for". So there was a part of me that was still a little nervous. At the time, I was living in DC, and commuting back and forth to Richmond for anything pertaining to my wedding (that's where my wedding would be). She made everything so easy on me. We met face to face a few times and she always came prepared with a list of things to ask. She was on top of everything before I even was - and i'm a pretty "Type-A" planner - so I thought I was really on top of stuff, haha. She created the most amazing timeline for me and my family, she contacted my vendors and my bridal party and got them all the information they needed and told them to contact her for stuff, not me. She did everything. She ran the rehearsal, made sure everyone was where they needed to be for the ceremony, and she helped set up my tables at the reception and made sure everything looked perfect. I kid you not - my wedding was flawless. I can't believe it. Something was supposed to go wrong, right? Thats what everyone told me, and I was prepared to "just let it go". But nothing went wrong. And if at any point something DID go wrong, or sh*t DID hit the fan, then Mirna must have handled it because I never found out about it. My wedding was perfect. Nothing went wrong. Mirna is so nice! She is so easy to get along with, and when we had our meetings, it felt more like a coffee date with a close friend. She makes you feel so special. At one point I remember thinking, "theres no way she's working with any other brides right now because she makes me feel like i'm the ONLY one in the world!". Which I knew wasn't true :) I highly recommend that anyone book Mirna. I have already referred her to a few of my friends. She is smart, organized, and incredibly capable. She will streamline your wedding and keep you stressfree - because you should not be overwhelmed on the most exciting day of your life. BOOK MIRNA!!! :)

Elegant Budget Weddings organized and provided all decorations for my bridal shower in June 2016. The theme was an elegant bridal tea party. For the event, Natasha transformed my backyard into a gorgeous venue, something I would not have imagined at all. Walking into the yard and seeing the flowy entrance, the beautifully decorated table settings, the appetizing centerpieces for the tables, the dazzling dessert table was such an experience. I really want to say the bridal shower was a dream come true, but I cannot -- it was so much better than anything I dreamt. Thank you for your hard work, Natasha!
Vanity Fair events exceeded my expectations, I have planned hundreds of successful events on my own and was certain I did not need to hire a wedding planner for my daughter's wedding. We loved working with Elisha! I am a worry freak and she miraculously calmed my nerves countless times. She is super resourceful which really came in handy with our EXTREMELY tight budget! Elisha made it very clear to me that I was to contact her whenever I had questions or ideas and she always responded within the hour. I moved to Virginia a few months before beginning the planning so being in a new place, I knew nothing about the area and knew no one. I am the type that has to physically see anything before buying it and with all my sisters and friends hundreds of miles away, Elisha, on numerous occasions would meet me at Davids Bridal or Michael's, etc to help me decide on the shoes, dresses, decorations, I wanted in my wedding. Dada Consultants were professional and overall nice people to work with. I used Dada on two occasions, one for office cleaning and two for personal home organizing. Lynn realized that I had a lot of my personal items at my office and asked if I needed help and declutter my home space. They came in for a few minutes, assessed what I needed and came back the next day with a system that worked for me. The work they did both at my office and home was nothing short of emaculate. I plan to use them again.
My entire experience with A Perfect Day Events was just that “A perfect day.” When preparing an important event there are so many details and things to remember. Not to mention, knowing how to put it all together in the time allotted with really reasonable prices! With this company you get a lot more bang for your buck!
