Great guy, very knowledgeable about what area of exercise. I haven't been training with him for very long and already learned a few key things to help progress my diet and training. Appreciate the willingness to work with flexible schedule and exercise type.
Xavier is the best ever! He will kick your ass from day one and you will feel/see results almost immediately. He is so flexible with th schedule and he is very understanding when my life gets crazy. I have had two other trainers before and he is by far the best. Couldn't be happier :)
I started 3 weeks ago with FSR Fitness and I must say it was one of the best choices I've made. My trainer, Craig, is the best. He pushes me just enough to make me work harder but not too much where I would quit. The trainers are friendly. They motivate you to do your best. They encourage you so if you can't do something it's ok, you will be able to, just keep trying. Pricing is awesome. As a single parent, I don't have much to spend on other things. This fits in my budget perfectly.
Zach has been a grest trainer. He has pushed me to do more than I would do on my own. I would reccomend him to anyone who is willing to work hard and listen to his advice.
First, Let me just say I love the service Glatter Fitness provides so much I did a video testimonial! I am in the best shape of my life, I am happier, healthier, and stronger. I never really put much stock in strength training (weights and kettlebells) as a method to lose weight for fear it would make me "bulky" but it is actually quite the opposite. I have lost weight, I am stronger than I ever thought possible, and have lowered some health risks, which before starting were an issue for me. Michael always answers questions I have rather knowledgeably. He is far more knowledgeable than some other personal trainers I have encountered and can even provide me a source for the information he gives. If you are willing to put forth the hard work, actually come and work out, and follow his food guide, you will make improvements. I went from doing push ups on my knees to being able to do one hand push ups. I can lift weights in excess of 150 pounds. I have a smaller waist size and far better endurance. As far as accessibility, he does not limit when you can come, which I love. He has 5 class times throughout the day so it allows for flexibility. I don't foresee any time in the future where Glatter Fitness will not be in my life. When I say I am in some of the best shape of my life, I mean it in every way possible. I owe all this to Glatter Fitness!
CJ offers a unique experience to working out. She tailors each session to you and your goals while pushing you to and past your limits. I’ve grown (and shrunk!) in ways I could never expect. She’s flexible to my schedule and she never cuts me short on time or quality. CJ is a well-rounded fitness guru and a great resource for not just exercise but also for nutrition and mental health. I can’t recommend her enough, whether you have never exercised a day in your life or you are training for an intense obstacle race.
Adrian is, hands down, one of the best trainers I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She herself is dedicated, hardworking, motivated, and extremely knowledgeable, and her training style reflects that. I've been training with her on/off for about 3 years or so now, and every time I come home I always set up sessions to train with her. Even while I'm away I keep her updated because she's genuinely excited and proud whenever I make a new PR. I've learned so much from her, my very foundation and love of lifting came from watching her and seeing her progress. I started out only wanting to lose weight, and she was so helpful with that, I lost a lot of weight, but I gained something so much more valuable: a love of lifting. For that, I couldn't be more thankful, and I owe most of that to her. She encouraged me and showed me that women shouldn't be afraid to lift! Each time I train at a gym, and someone tells me how good my form and basic foundation is, I always say that I had a good teacher/mentor, and that's the honest truth. I would recommend her to anyway, and I always sing her praises to everyone because she truly deserves it. She's excellent at her job because she knows when to push you harder, but she also knows when to pull back. I'll often say, 'I can't' a lot when I'm training, and most of the times she just ignores me because she knows that I CAN, I just need to be pushed, but there are times when she can tell the difference. She always wants the best for me, but she understands that I'm human and I can't always have a perfect training session. In either case, she is always the same, fun loving person. She's firm, but there hasn't been one training session I've had with her in the past 3 years where I didn't laugh at least once. She's just that kind of person, which makes the training so much more enjoyable. I cannot say enough how thankful I am for her wisdom, knowledge, and her friendship. It motivates me to know I have such an awesome and inspiring person to look up to. She'll get you where you want to be, and even further to places you never even dreamed of and thought were possible!!!
When you think about some personal trainers you think about what you see in movies, reality shows, and TV in general. What I mean by this is a hulking and aggressive figure who barks instructions and who reminds you more of a drill sergeant than a trainer. When I had my first session with Jacob my mind was instantly put at ease as his soft spoken demeanor and encouraging methods had me doing 2 or 3 more reps than I thought were possible. When taking breaks in between sets Jacob and I talk about our lives and passions and we have built a relationship stronger than just trainer and client. Since I started working with him I have lost multiple inches on multiple problem areas of my body and I am beginning to see the results I have craved for so long that I thought were lost forever. Without writing a novel singing Jacobs praises (which I could do as he is awesome!), I will just say that if you are in the Richmond metro area and are looking to shed some pounds for whatever reason please go see him at Crunch Fitness on Brook Road in Lakeside and I promise you that you will be happy you made that decision every day. He has given me some of my health back as well as my confidence so thank you Jacob!!!
Cedric is the most well rounded overall trainer and well qualified individual who helped me accomplish not only better basketball skills but individual he helped me will self-esteem issues and personal issues . I highly recommend him
Shanice is very professional & punctual. Her workouts are awesome & just the motivation that I needed to start working out again. They are challenging but she also knows your limits. I've had a few trainers in the past and she is one of the best I've worked with.
Kimberly Roane is my personal trainer. I trained with her 6 times over the course of 3 weeks, as well as the at home workouts she provides me with. Over the course of a short time, she has made me comfortable with working out with her. Her bubbling personality makes you excited to get the work out done (even though she is busting your butt) lol. I would recommend her to anyone & i can't wait to continue when i get back from school!!
I love Mia!! She as an excellent personal trainer. She was very professional and personable. Mia was also very accommodating, being that I have two small children. She adjusted workouts to suit my needs and abilities. She was very supportive and encouraging. I would definitely recommend her as a personal trainer!

Linnard helped me reach my fitness goals and was able to work with me and my preexisting injuries and get results. He helped me plan my meals and gave me one-on-one personalized training and exercises that I could do on my own as well. Josh was my personal trainer for about a year and a half. He trained me twice a week. I have had a number of trainers over the years, and I was in the best shape of my life when I worked with Josh. He pushed me hard, but appropriately so. Not only did he focus on my physical fitness journey, he focused on my eating habits as they related to the work I was doing in the gym to ensure I was eating enough to gain muscle and see progress. Josh has a good personality for the work he does - he's confident but not arrogant about it. I'd highly recommend him.
