Tony is hands-down the best contractor we have ever worked with. He is trustworthy, responsive, and he does amazing work. A few months back, we found Tony on thumbtack. He and his team repaired a broken light fixture (electrical and dry wall repair). His price was fair, he came out almost immediately, the repair looked great, and we had a good experience. More recently, we started a kitchen backsplash project with another contractor who was recommended to us by a family member. There were red flags along the way, but we proceeded with the recommended contractor. At the end of their first day, they left our house covered in mortar and as the evening wore on, the tiles literally began sliding down the wall. We recognized the craftsmanship was terrible, but did not how to proceed. We didn't want to tear it down, but we didn't want the tiles to dry in the wrong place. Somewhat desperate, we remembered how professional Tony had been months prior, so we pulled out his number (at 9pm) and called him. We sent him photos of the wall and he talked us through what to do. We took down the tiles and washed them completely (so they could be salvaged and we wouldn't have to buy new material) per his instructions. He was positive, never insulting the other contractors, but clearly identifying where they had gone wrong, which instilled trust -- it was clear that by understanding how they went so wrong, he would do a much better job. We agreed on a price and he agreed to come out on a Wednesday. This was on a Monday. On Wednesday, he came out and immediately started reorganizing the tiles and prepping for the new installation. He had another tile installer come out; the installer who came out to work with him was a skilled tiler who showed photos of his work -- really beautiful work. We felt completely comfortable with them taking the lead and putting up the complicated backsplash pattern. Once they dove into their work, they realized that the tiles procured by the first contractors were not actually true squares so they recut ever single tile - 30 sq feet of tile! We were acutely aware of the fact that the job was actually far more difficult than it originally looked (via the photos we sent at 9pm)! However, Tony did not complain once about the additional work; he kept a great attitude and was really upbeat. My husband and I decided that the price we had initially agreed upon with Tony was not actually fair (it was too low) because the job was far more complicated than we had realized. I raised this with Tony and he stood by the fact that he had committed to a price and was going to do the job for that price and would not request any more money for the job. When we told him we felt it was necessary to pay more (the work is truly fantastic), he seemed to appreciate that we recognized how much work they were doing - literally hand cutting 30sq feet if tile- but again, he said he had committed to a price and wanted to be clear that he was not asking for any more money. Another great benefit about working with Tony is that he is great at organizing jobs. He perfectly sees the full picture/scope of work that needs to be done and he efficiently organizes the process. He is not one of those contractors who leaves the job site for multiple trips to Home Depot; he anticipates all his material needs and comes prepared. I cannot recommend Tony enough.

We had a total of 4 bathrooms done including a complete master bathroom remodel as well as having the flooring in our master bedroom completely redone. These were not simple projects as we added rain showers, body jets, not only in our master but even to our upstairs shared bathroom. In our master bathroom a brand new jacuzzi tub installed, we had vented ceiling fans added even in bathrooms that never had anything there before. In order to get that kind of project complete you basically have to trust the people that are employed because you can't be in the house 24 hours a day. We were so comfortable with his staff that we basically just left the front door open all day and they would come and go and do work. Extremely nice guys, hard-working, I was 100% comfortable having them in the house even with a pet and teens. Anytime you have a project there are going to be issues that come up, a lot of times things may be found once a renovation starts, or maybe something needs to be changed Etc. Every single time I asked and brought that to the attention of Nilson the answer was always "no problem, we'll fix it" and it was fixed. I've added photos as best I could but it really doesn't do any justice to the level of workmanship. I also waited a little while before leaving a review to see if any issues arose and everything has been absolutely perfect. Honestly, if I ever have any work that needs to be done I'm going to work with Nilson, getting ready to have a window repaired here and will let them do the work. The other thing is you can tell they enjoy what they do. They always had a smile on her face. If you ever want to talk live go ahead and get my number from Nilson I'm happy to provide a personal reference.

I will start by saying I was not an easy customer to deal with. I needed an Anderson window repair to a house in Virginia whilst I was in the UK. I found David Grover through Thumbtack who went and inspected the work and spare parts required and gave me a very reasonable quotation. The work was completed earlier than expected and at the price quoted. David made it easy to deal with him and accepted payment via Paypal which helped me out enormously. Give him a chance if you need any of the services he offers. Very satisfied with the outcome on what could have been a difficult situation to resolve from afar.

I was very pleased with the work from LVC Construction. Shane made special arrangements to come out and give me a quote. He was willing to work on my double wide when most companies would not. He came on time to install my roof in 100 degree heat. He made sure the job was done correctly and it looks awesome.

When looking for a home repair partner, I wanted someone who was professional, trustworthy, responsive, and competitively priced. Baxter Safe Homes was all of those. Not to mention I engaged and hired him from Atlanta, GA for a project in Richmond, VA. We used technology to bridge the distance. Go ahead, look at the others, but highly recommend Baxter Safe Homes! 🏠 βœ…

I have had Shawn do a tremendous number of jobs over the past few years and all of his work has been excellent. Jobs ranged from fixing floor creaks, replacing hot water heater, repairing carpet, repairing railing on a cement porch and drywall repairs. He even attended a foreclosure inspection and helped me vet/price things the inspector said would need to be done. His work was always done quickly, he cleans up after his jobs, and his prices are fair. The hardest part about hiring someone to work on your home is finding someone you can trust. Once you have Shawn do a single job for you, you will always call him when you need something done. He is also well connected in the area and can refer you to the right person for a job if it is outside of his expertise (or rather that he just trusts someone to do it better for you).

Randy repaired a water leak in my garage and water leak in one my bedroom windows which was resulting in the lower bay window leaking water in the living room. Repairs were done in a timely manner and helped to eliminate two major issues with my home. Randy was extremely nice with explaining everything that needed to be done and his prices were competitive. I highly recommend him without reservations.

Project was to repair existing (older) windows so that they could open properly and lock. Steve was prompt, gave a fair assessment with explanation, and had the work completed when he said he would. I would definitely hire again, especially since I have a future window repair/installation project in the near future.

Going through some difficult times at the moment. Needing some home repairs. Reached out to Edwards Construction and Restoration. Mr. & Mrs. Edwards came out Friday evening to look at everything that needs repair. Mr. & Mrs. Edwards took time out today to fix my washer issues, deck issues, toilet issues, and a continuously dripping faucet. They are such kinda and compassionate people. I will be hiring them to finish the rest of my restorations in my house. I am very pleased with everything they've done today. I will be telling everyone.... family and friends and whoever I meet about them. Mrs. Edwards also spent plenty of time with me today and talking to me about things I could do with my house among other things. They have truly blessed me in ways they know and in ways they don't know. There are still good people out there.

Steve was excellent. Had him replace a siding piece that came off during high winds. He was so fast to respond that I asked him to re-stain my front entry door. Both jobs came out great. I will definitely call him again!

I have pictures of what needs to be done, but it might be easier to describe. I had some tenants who had a dog and chewed on the base of the window (in the corner). I just wanted to know how much it would be to have that piece repaired and repainted. My budget for this is anywhere from $125-175 dollars. I can send you the picture. I live three hours away, so it's hard to do onsite evalutation.
