I am a 59 year old tone deaf, musical ignoramus. But Liz has the patience to work with me, to push me and to understand what to expect, recognizing the time limitations on my ability to practice. She has excited me to the point that I look forward to my Friday afternoon lessons all week. And she is very talented. It appears that she has studied under and played with the best. I highly recommend Liz for any level of violin lessons.
Awesome working with Chris! My daughter has tried piano lessons twice in the past and her interests always fell off, but with Chris she's motivated to even PRACTICE without being told. I'm loving it!!
We ABSOLUTELY LOVE Speak Life Productions. Our two sons take drum lessons there and they love it. They have learned a great deal in a very short timeframe. In fact, with very short notice, both sons played drums for a huge community event - just the two of them. That is something they would never have done prior. The couple who run the company provide exemplary customer service. You have got to check them out!!
Cara is a calm and understanding teacher who really pays attention to the songs that I want to sing and my personal voice. She is patient and fun to work with. I like that she laughs when I tell a joke, or that she doesn't focus too much on me becoming a professional singer all in one lesson. She just wants me to keep improving. If you want someone laid back with a natural ability to make you want to sing, she's your girl.
Rachel has shown infinite patience with my 10 year old granddaughter who wants to explore her musical talents in guitar. Rachel encourages and waits for Melina to find her way with a note or fingering or her answers. She is very proficient, definitely a step up from the guitar playing band member Melina was taking from before. Rachel looks for excellence and is patient while Melina gets there and makes it fun along the way. Most importantly my granddaughter loves Rachel and going to her guitar lessons.
Lauri is great with our son. She is patient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a private violin tutor. You won't be sorry.
Very professional, I am an adult beginner (never had even held a violin) and have learned loads in only a couple of months.
I am a magna cum laude graduate of Norfolk State University, majoring in music. My major instrument was voice, and I also play the piano and violin. I'm looking forward to teaching and learning from my students!
I am an experienced string player (violin, viola, cello). I can teach private lessons for beginners (violin, viola, cello), intermediates (violin, viola, cello), and advanced (violin). I offer theory help for students who are thinking of taking music in high school and college. I also offer vocal training and elementary piano lessons. I will travel to you or I can conduct the lessons out of my home. I have been involved in music since 1994 and have taken college courses in music including theory and composition classes, vocal lessons, piano courses, and played in the college orchestra for four years. I believe that any person interested in playing an instrument has the ability to do so with proper training. My motto is, "A good teacher knows when to push, a great teacher knows when to stop". Students will grow in their own time. You polish them like diamonds and eventually they shine.
