Linda Wright is the absolute best real estate agent! When I received short-notice orders for my overseas assignment, she assured my wife and I that we would not have to worry about our home when we departed the US for Germany. She possesses a rare quality not often found in most realtors and that is TRUST. You will find her to be very attentive and personable and Meticulous. She was not afraid to provide us with honest feedback and recommended we invest money in a project to improve our home appeal and our house sold in part due to listening to her recommendation. She also kept us apprised of the status of our home improvement and even went the extra mile to ensure our home was maintained in tip top shape until our house sold! Best realty company in virginia!!! Let me start off with I live out of state california to be exact. When I started shopping around for a real estate agent in virginia I was very nervous becaus e of the distance. I had a terrible management company that was managing my house at the time and Shannon who was my real estate agent made my life so much easier! On a couple occasions she even drive over to my house to check on it for me. She was very prompt with all my concerns. I don’t think there was one time where I called her and she didn’t return my call within an hour. She was on top of everything even when things weren’t going in our favor she was there to reassure me that everything was ok! She truly went above and beyond and if it hadn’t been for her I don’t think i would have been able to sell my house as quickly as we did!!!

Brian did a Great job in selling my Townhouse. He handled all the scheduling and paperwork all the way thru to closing. What can I say about Megan Morris; she is phenomenal! She was the best choice my husband and I could have ever made in choosing a real estate agent to assist us with getting our house on the market and sold. Our house sold within less than 45 days from the day it went on the market. She is simply amazing to say the least. She gave us a checklist of things to take care of that would help us in getting the house sold and offered us advice on things to do to help make the process go more smoothly and not only did she get it sold quickly, it sold for a lot more than what we had asked for. She kept us involved throughout the entire process and made sure our house was staged very nicely for potential buyers. I really can't say enough about this sweet, wonderful and organized young woman. I've heard horror stories from friends that have used different real estate agents and those agents barely did anything for them and it took them forever to sell their homes.       What's the difference between a real estate broker and an agent?

      Real estate agents and real estate brokers both help clients buy, sell, and rent residential and commercial properties. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, real estate brokers are licensed to manage their own real estate businesses. Real estate agents cannot have their own real estate office and must work under a broker. Real estate brokers often have real estate firms and employ real estate agents. That said, you also want someone who can play hardball and maximize your real estate deal. Ask for references from recent clients, and be sure to call them.

      Experts encourage you to interview more than one prospective real estate agent before hiring. A home sale or home purchase is a big deal — sometimes the biggest deal in a person’s life — and you want to find an agent who will work hard for you.       What do real estate agents charge?

      Real estate agents typically don’t charge a set rate to their clients, but rather earn a commission on the price of the final home sale. In traditional real estate, there is a buyer’s agent and a seller’s agent. The two agents receive 5 percent to 6 percent of the final home sale price and split it evenly, meaning they each earn roughly 2.5 percent to 3 percent of the total home sale. If you are a home seller, you may have fees associated with the sale that are above and beyond the commission the agents earn. The real estate agent may have you pay marketing fees, MLS fees, early cancellation fees, or more. Always ask pricing details before signing a contract so you clearly understand your financial obligations. Here are some of the average (and common) costs that can arise when selling a home:
