The crew that was assigned to complete our roof arrived early and went straight to work. This is an experienced company that completes the work in a timely manner with efficiency and quality workmanship. James was easy to work with throughout the process. When the work was complete the only thing left on the site was the Blue Water Yard Sign.

We started great. James (the owner) was very responsive prior to coming out to the house. He did show up. After he looked over the house, he said he would reach out via email with the estimate. We sent him our emails. And then …….. he ghosted us. No one likes rejection in any form. It’s hard not to take it personally. If this wasn’t a job you didn’t want to take on, just simply communicate. I followed up with no answer. I don’t know if he’s just too busy and he doesn’t have someone to help with estimate write-ups. Either way, it is very unprofessional to just leave us hanging. But maybe we dodged a bullet. :(

James and his team were a pleasure to work with. We went through a longer than expected process through our insurance company and James constantly offered his help. He initially gave us an in-depth assessment of our roof, going above and beyond any other contractor's inspection. He then offered to come to assist when the insurance adjustor came to inspect our roof. While we did not ask him to come, we know for sure he would have been a huge help. Finally, he maintained communication with us throughout the couple months it took to get our insurance squared away. Once it was good to go, him and his team were at our house working on our roof in less than a week. It only took one day and a few extra hours to complete the project. The attention to detail was awesome; They added "crickets" to our two chimneys to help the rain water flow better, they painted all of the pipes black to blend in better, and they ensured to thoroughly clean our yard after the job was done. Unfortunately, we do not have many friends or family members who are buying houses that need a new roof so if you are reading this, this is your recommendation to choose James and Bluewater Building Company.
