Rob's tech did a splendid job pressure washing our concrete patio. It's old and has cracks, but it's now so clean it's almost blinding. :-) Excellent price and after a few crossed messages his tech was there on time and completed the work quickly and completely to our satisfaction. Would have been far more hassle and expensive to go the rental equipment route. Thanks, Rob!
Ramiro and his team did a fantastic job on the stone patio and aluminum fence installation at our house. They were professional and meticulous and always went above exceptions on his work. I've already recommended him to several people who are looking for a landscaping/fence/patio pro. I will certainly hire Ramiro and his team again when I have a future need.
Cove Enterprises prepped and stained my deck and painted my concrete slab patio. They scheduled the work promptly because I was in a time bind (putting my town home on the market). They made sure that the work was completed to my satisfaction; checked with me when there were questions; and they were very upfront about the pricing (which was reasonable). They did a great job and I will use them again! Deborah
B&G Construction did an amazing job! I had them rip up about 200 sq feet of concrete, regrade the backyard, and then sod the entire area. They were able to do the job very quickly, and the price was very reasonable. It was a pleasure to work with them, and I highly recommend B&G.
Jeremiah and Craig were very helpful, honest, timely and met my very tight deadline for having a 540sf cement patio installed. The crew was efficient and lovely to have around for a few days. Pricing was more in line with what we had calculated to do the project ourselves and very fair. The work exceeded my expectations and I have since referred the group to others. Highly recommend them and will be hiring Jeremiah and his crew for other things around the house. In addition, we had the window wells replaced and water drainage situated before the concrete was poured. It would have taken us weeks to do this ourselves. They knocked it out in a matter of days. See my pictures below.
I had Unique Homes (Simeon) complete 4 different projects for me, each progressively bigger. All of them were successful -- although not without little issues that came up now and then, but that were always taken care of. The prices were very good and the jobs were done well. Job #1 - I had a front porch that needed concrete work. This was a relatively small job, but it was done well. Job #2 - This was a remodel of small bathroom. Again, the job was done well and was a good price. And Simeon indulged us owners half-way through the project when we did not like something about the floor tiles we had chosen. Totally our issue, we did not really like how it looked when it started getting installed. But he undid some of his work and we were able to fix it. Job #3 - This was a full bathroom remodel, so a more significant job. Again, this project was done well, but the costs savings really started to come through on this project. We were very happy with the final look of the bathroom. Job #4 - This was by far the biggest job. It was a complete remodel of our master bathroom. I had received various quotes from other contractors in the $30-40K range for the project (including materials). Simeon's prices were less than a third of that, however that did not include any of the materials. In the end, I think the materials is the source of a lot of the savings since I think the others hide mark-ups (or store kick-backs) in the materials. For this project we went to some high end stores and looked at their display designs and chose/copied what we liked. We chosen something that was based on a white marble tile as a base ...and Lowes/HD carried it at a fraction of the cost of Tile City. I think we saved $5k on the marble along. We bought some of the more unique accent stuff in Tile City at full price, but for everything else we were able to replicate the Tile City look with HD or Lowe's materials of equal quality. We bought a high end shower panel, but bought it through Costco. The same fixture at a high-end bathroom store was thousands more than what we paid. At some higher end stores Simeon would give us the Unique Homes discount that he had negotiated. Some places (like the glass doors for the shower) were still expensive...but I ended up with the same bathroom that would have been $40k for about $20K. So yes, I recommend Unique Homes.
If you’re in need of a reliable, honest and get-it-done general contractor for your home remodeling needs, Al and his crew are the GO TO GUYS! We recently had a rather large basement remodel project where we took an unfinished space (approx.. 900 sq. feet) to a home office/ dental laboratory finish. There were a lot of moving parts involved – all new electrical/ mechanical/ plumbing; installation of egress & small sliding window(s), walk-out door w/ retaining walls and pavement; added bathroom & work/equipment room. Al took the design plans from a paper to presence, and really worked with us to stay on time and on budget. From the initial consultation, he took his time to go over details of the project and provide us with a written proposal on the spot. What was also appreciated was that he used upgraded materials rather than standard builder supplies, which really makes a huge difference in appearance! Al and his guys are meticulous, detailed & very clean – at the end of each work day, the floors were always swept & materials put away. Another consideration for us was trust since my husband & I weren’t home during the day. I can say with complete confidence that you can trust Premier Home Services to do their job, in your home without supervision. We will definitely use them again for our next home project. Thanks Al!
Extending my current deck and installing a paver patio. Robert has been very easy to work with. He's been prompt at answering all of my questions and providing quotes. We are have way through the work and I am extremely happy with the results. I would recommend United Services Integrated to anyone out there as they are extremely good at what they do!
We had a poorly built roof over our patio that was damaged by the wind. I found kutai enterprises on thumbtack and asked him to come look at the roof and give us an estimate. Not only did he beat the first estimate, but he took a construction disaster and made it into something to be proud to show off. The roof is much safer and definitely more appealing to the eye. Will definitely hire these guys again. Couldn't be more happier with their work. Would definitely recommend kutai enterprises.
Elite Paving did a great job on our small concrete patio project. Very professional and the cost came out exactly as we had estimated. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that they were not very prompt with communication.
Frank and his crew did an outstanding job for us. They replaced a sidewalk from our drive way to our front steps and fixed a railing for the front steps but most importantly they gave us a new stamped concrete patio out back that is huge and beautiful. They were great to work with and very attentive. Could not be happier. Great service, work and price. Would definitely recommend F&C Enterprises, Inc. In fact we have already to friends, family and neighbors. I believe several have already called him about their projects.
Umana was great, professional, timely, competitive rates, and they did a great job on my stamped concrete patio w/sidewalk. Would definitely hire them again.
This guys did a phenomenal job for me they did my concrete drive way last summer and my new privacy fence i definitely recommend them they save me thousand of dollars compared to the other estimates.
Jess Goodman (AMC, Inc.) was the general contractor for our home at 2800 Davenport Street NW in Washington, DC. What went well: AMC took on all challenges of this difficult property, post and beam construction on a 40-degree slope of rock behind a stream protected by the Army Corps of Engineers and avoided by other contractors. Jess met several difficult challenges with impressive ingenuity. The crew built an excellent, tight house to our specifications. Jess pays attention to the homeowner. He also means it when he guarantees his work. He has come back several times, even 10 years later, to make sure everything is right. What could have been better: Occasionally, deadlines slipped and there were some issues with finish work, although none with basic construction. This is a solid house. These items notwithstanding, Jess Goodman is a delight to work with and we are very pleased with the result. There is no question we would use him again.
Old School Carpentry build our beautiful Trex deck and patio in 2013. They did an amazing job, left no mess, and delivered great results. Would recommend them to anyone.
Luis was great to work with knows his stuff and very organized with his crew flow and deliveries always sufficient manpower to keep the job on schedule. He also pointed out design flaws that needed to be addressed and had answers when problems arise.
They do great work at exceptional prices and fast work I give them 5 stars all around
