We were scheduled for a basic cleaning of our empty house before our final walk through and closing. When they arrived, we were told that the house needed a lot more work than expected and that it would be over $200 more than quoted. My husband discussed via phone what was needed (not a deep clean, just a basic cleaning of surfaces and floors) and said he would call right back to confirm. They never picked up the phone the rest of the day, and never answered any messages or texts. We had no idea they hadn’t cleaned the house at all until getting a very unhappy message from our buyer’s agent that the house hadn’t been cleaned. By this time it was 5pm the evening before our closing and no cleaning had been done. We were left scrambling to find a backup option and begging neighbors to help out (since we already moved out of state and couldn’t be there ourselves). I am beyond disappointed with the lack of professionalism about not responding to contact attempts or letting us know they left the job site without cleaning at all. Unfortunately you wanted me to do a half ass job that I refused to do, I also stated to your husband that I cannot come in and take money from you when the job wasn’t going to be done to tip top shape. I stated to your husband that when closing on a home 9 times out of 10 it will be a deep cleaning for the next buyers his response was our contract say “broom clean” and was trying to rebuttal the price. Also your husband was aware that we would not be cleaning the home. Also your husband stated that the walk through was to be done tomorrow 8/30 and he didn’t want the new buyers in the home in the shape it was in and they were trying to come today at 3 (as I’m at the home at 1:40) but told them he refused to allow them to come beings the contract stated walk through in the morning. Your husband expected us to wait around until he was able to decide if he wanted to pay the extra for the home. The home was a total disaster it would have taken hours just to a basic clean and that still wouldn’t have touched a portion of the home. I cannot accept money from a job that is not done correctly.
The rating is not for cleaning. No services were provided as I cancelled them. The rating is for the cost provided. Estimate of the cost was $90. The provider booked the appointment for $175, almost 2 times the estimate. They are estimates that I didn’t provide! The system did. How can you give a review on something that is beyond my control. No one is going to do a clean out for $90. A lot of work is put into them so you can 1. Get your deposit back, 2. Have the home available for someone else to move in, 3. Be a satisfied customer. I am coming from Winchester which is a little of a hike. If I don’t take the chance I can’t expand out. I would not be able to pay myself, taxes or my employees for $90.
Our floors looked excellent after our cleaning! We had pictures taken of our home the next day to list it for sale and everything looked marvelously clean!Aug 30, 2019Verified
Last week I asked them to be here at 1:00 they came at 11:00. There are things I like to straighten up before cleaners come in. They said they would be back later. They never came back. Cleaners did arrive and no one answered the door. Second time this happened.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We do offer discounts on weekly and bi-weekly services. If you are within any goverment services we do offer a discount as well. Our pricing is set per job. Based on the detail of what is needing done. Prices will increase if other tasks are requested.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We go over everything in detail as in cleaning products, what the main focal points are as well as extra services we offer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?My mother has owned and operated a cleaning company since I was very little. To this day she still operates her business out of the eastern shore. So the attention to detail is key.
