Working with Paul and Stephanie was a pleasant experience because they were very helpful, flexible and accommodating. They had no problem changing the menu or substituting platter to meet our needs. They also provided a bar tending service that was excellent. The food was good, presentation was good, they delivered what they promised. They are a good team. The suggestion I have is to go over the clean up part of the event with the clients so the client know what to expect at the end. Thank you guys for a great service.

The Great Surprisal was hired to be our event coordinator as well as serving as our emcee. This is an annual dinner/fundraiser for a small non-profit. Amelia worked with us from the beginning finding a caterer, hiring musicians, working with venue, coordinating volunteers for our silent auction as well as other parts of our evening. We increased our net income by over 25%! We had used the venue before but with the creativity and cost conscious Great Surprisal we had a totally transformed 'gym' from years gone by. Past attendees commented on the greatly improved environment, excellent food and the overall sense of a better-planned event. We will work with The Great Surprisal again and encourage others to do so. Last year we worked with The Great Suprisal as an emcee only. Customers should definitely check out 'Gina' as an addition to a party or event. We are very pleased with The Great Surprisal's work ethic and creativity of working on a limited budget.

I could not more pleased with the food and the professionalism of Chef Emme. In planning our corporate event for 70 people, she worked with us to create the menu that we wanted within the budget that we had available. Her professionalism was also top notch. I had not been able to secure chafing trays or enough canned heat to accommodate the order that I had made, but Chef Emme came prepared with extra supplies on hand to meet a need that I did not yet know I had. She even helped us set up the event and gave us invaluable advice on how to keep the food warm and delicious throughout our event. I highly recommend Chef Emme for her food, her service, and for the ease of doing business with her. It could not have been easier to document and pay our invoice, or to work with her on late changes.

I contacted Evan to MC/DJ at a semi-formal wedding reception that my Husband and I were hosting. Most of the planning for the event was done only 3 weeks ahead of the even and infact I contacted Evan through Thumbtack only about 10 days before my event. He was very easy to work with and super communicative. We had a few back and forth emails where I described my expectations and then on the day of, I briefly explained the order of the afternoon. Everything went off without a glitch. He was so helpful because I hadn't had the time to send him a playlist earlier to prep and on the day of at the event, my cousins and friends gave him a playlist and he played them without any complaints!! A few of our friends complimented how professional he was.

Hiring Britta as our Day of Coordinator was one of the best decisions we made during our planning process. She was organized, professional and friendly. Marshanell served as MC for trivia game, corporate event for my company and our customers. About 65 people. All went as planned. Met weeks before the event to discuss. They arrived at venue 2 hours before event to set up and make sure all A/V was working. The selling point for me was that they were able to personalize some of the trivia questions and I submitted questions about my company and they were mixed in with the other questions. I would hire her again for future events.

I contacted Joy on very short notice for a company Christmas party. She quickly furnished me with several great menus to choose from. We did a non hosted event, and I probably only had to interact with a total of 20 minutes to plan the entire event. The food was great, and the portions were very large. My employees were very happy. I absolutely recommend Joy Max Catering.

I used Royal India Kirkland for my catering needs to host my son's graduation party and they did a great job! Planning the menu was easy and they were responsive and flexible and able to accommodate some changes over the week. Bianca was exceptional to work with! She arrived extra early to our wedding, helped set up, beautifully directed and coordinated all venue staff, caterers, servers, guests, and oversaw everything! It's very hard to hand over control to someone and can trust they understand not only your high expectations but also, your vision down to every little detail and on such an important day. We hired Snowrider Entertainment to DJ our wedding in Poulsbo. They did a great job! They came in and set up without any of our input or having to direct them. They provided a very stress free experience, and I can't think of a single thing that didn't go perfectly! Phil was very nice and professional. They did more than just play music. Phil helped us plan out the timing of each of the events of our wedding (dinner, dances, toasts, cake cutting, garder/bouquet toss, final dance), which was very helpful. When the day came and the events inevitably went a little off schedule, Phil was very flexible, and all the transitions and events went smoothly. I would highly recommend Phil and Snowrider Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ and Master of Ceremonies for their wedding.
