Introduction: The services that I offer: Landscaping: Operate equipment such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, chain-saws, sod cutters, and pruning saws. Mow and edge lawns, using power mowers and edges. Shovel snow from walks, driveways, and parking lots, and spread salt in those areas. Maintain lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, trimming, edging around flower beds, walks and walls. Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge and brush trimmers, and axes. Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. Gather and remove litter. Maintain and repair equipment and structures such as buildings, fences, and benches. Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders. Provide upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, and other grounds features. Tile and marble work: Align and straighten tile using levels, squares and straightedges. Determine and implement the best layout to achieve a desired pattern. Cut and shape tile to fit using hand and power tools. Finish and dress the joints and wipe excess grout from between tiles, using damp sponge. Apply mortar to tile back, position the tile and press or tap with trowel handle to affix tile to base. Mix, apply, and spread plaster, concrete, mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives to form a bed for the tiles, using brush, trowel and screed. Prepare cost and labor estimates based on calculations of time and materials needed for project. Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled, following blueprints. Level concrete and allow drying. Construction: Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities. Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones. Signal operators to facilitate alignment, movement and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials. Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes. Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications. Build and position forms for pouring concrete, and dismantle forms, using saws, hammers, nails, or bolts. Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw. Study specifications in blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required. Assemble and fasten materials to make framework, using hand tools. Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools, and power tools. Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level. Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools. Install windows, frames, floorings, and trim, or hardware, using carpenter's hand and power tools.
