Introduction: I have been teaching math for over 35 years. I understand the need for a solid foundation. I specialize in identifying concepts my students might have missed or do not fully understand. After building a strong foundation, it is amazing to see the improvement and success my students have had! I have a BS in mathematics and an MA in computer education. I can provide my own curriculum and/or can support any textbook curriculum. I am especially successful in teaching students how to use algebra to solve word problems, factoring polynomials, rational expressions, logarithms, and functions. I have been extremely successful in preparing my students for end-of-course exams and college readiness exams. I am patient and friendly, and I am told I have a great sense of humor. It is my hope in tutoring as in all my classes to hear the words from my students, "I've never been this good at math before." My resume is available upon request.
