FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into being a drummer at a very early age around 5 or 6. My older brother got a live Kiss record that had the most amazing drum solo on it. From the minute i heard that i was hooked and haven't want to be anything but a drummer and that was 30 plus years ago. I alway say the drums picked me .
- What types of customers have you worked with?
the most common thing I do with a client is teach them how to play what they want to play and not a bunch of things that dont inspire them. Although it is nessessary to have a good handle on techneque it is not my focus for most students as they are easly discuraged if they are not having fun with it. My approach makes learning fun and the results are amazing to see after just a few weeks of lessons.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
my advise is to talk to them on the phone to get a feel for the person. Picking the right teacher can be everything and if your dont like them or are not comfortable with them its best to know that as soon as possible. So take a few minutes and talk to people , ask questions and check some background.
