Brett did a great job in painting the interior of my 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom duplex. It looks great and they finished on time. It required steam cleaning removal of old wall paper, but they got my bathroom updated and more modern looking. I added on additional work halfway through the job, to include removing an old door frame and adding on a new door, and they rolled with it and completed it as well. I'd highly recommend them.

We hired Bret to paint the risers on our newly installed wood stairs. There were nail holes to fill and caulking to be done before the painting could start and he did a fantastic job. The stairs finally look finished! We will definitely consider Bret for future painting jobs.

Brett and his team were fantastic at painting the trim of our house - it has never looked better! He was able to get me a very reasonable quote the same day I requested his service and the job was done within a couple weeks (would have been earlier but dealing with Washington weather!). In all, these guys were professional, reliable, and performed great work (price was awesome too!). We will definitely be using them when we want to get our entire house painted.

This was a challenging job which included a three story accent wall with floating steps, a master bathroom where the bathtub sits less than 3 inches from the wall, and trim within a quarter inch from the adjacent wall. Bret's work is top notch!
Bret exceeded my expectations. He was professional, accommodating, and resourceful. When choosing a painter you can select an independent contractor or a company. With an independent you are selecting an individual, you know exactly who will be painting your house, in my experience working with an independent results in quality work but usually while sacrificing time. With a company you have more flexibility, the job is done faster, but the quality is occasionally lacking. With OMB you have the best of both worlds! Bret is part of network of painting professionals - and when I had to delay the start date of my project Bret was able to secure additional help to ensure that the job was finished on time.
I would definitely hire Bret again.

Bret is no joke! This guy does exceptional work. My fiancé and I previously bought a town home and the paint was atrocious. Bret came in and made this home brand new for us. He works fast but is a perfectionist. This was my first time using thumbtack and I am very happy with my experience thus far. We are typically not the cheapest company out there, but we are always willing to work with everyone.
We have really good warranties.
We do offer a variety of discounts that will be discussed later on in the process.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The best thing is being upfront and explaining things in enough detail, so everyone is on the same page.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Well I have been in the painting industry for a long time.
When I was younger I ran multiple companies in the painting industry.
On multiple accounts, I had tough deadlines and a lot of work, but still kept schedule and continued forward.
I personally feel I was trained by some of the best.
