We now have “a fireplace guy”! One Chimney was above and beyond more knowledgeable and professional compared to other bids we had gotten. Very fair price as well. They didn’t try to oversell and Asher was very knowledgeable and helpful. They were very communicative, on time and worked quickly but thoroughly. Would fully recommend and will be using them for future cleanings and any other chimney work needed!

The service person failed to clean up after himself, did not wear shoe covers, and promised to order and replace the fireplace screens, but never followed up. After I contacted him today, I was informed that the screens were not available.

I cannot recommend Asher/One Chimney Services highly enough for his incredible integrity, expertise, and genuine care for his customers. We were in a stressful situation with a fireplace that wouldn't light, and after receiving a quote from another company for thousands of dollars to replace the gas valve and various other parts, we were prepared for a financial hit. However, Asher insisted on coming out to provide a free diagnosis first, confident that it might be a much simpler fix than we were told. Within mere minutes of arriving, he had our fireplace roaring; he explained with total transparency that no expensive parts were actually needed and that the system simply required a professional touch to get the gas flowing after a long period of disuse. It is rare to find someone who prioritizes "doing the right thing" over making a quick profit, and Asher’s due diligence saved us from a massive, unnecessary expense. Because of his honesty and fair approach, we were more than happy to hire him to install a new remote system, which he did for an extremely reasonable price. If you want someone who is highly skilled and, more importantly, someone you can trust not to scam you, Asher/One Chimney Services is the only person you should call.

I was extremely happy with Asher. He was able to fit us in at very short notice. Communicated closely with me prior arrival. Arrived right on time as scheduled. The problem with our fireplace was just that we had accidentally turned off the gas. So he didn’t charge us anything, and not only that, spent time cleaning the fireplace and explained the workings of the unit for our information. He left us with a really pleasant feeling and overall an excellent experience. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending his services. Will absolutely use him for any future fireplace needs.
