When I put together a design recommendation, I'm not afraid to collect accessories from different resources. I love the challenge of mixing the old with the new and the hand-me-down. It creates warmth, personality, individuality, and a story. The final result is a reflection of the client and their family and lifestyle. You wont be afraid to live in your space either. That's what it means to feel welcomed into a space. I want to live in it. It beckons you in! I enjoy meeting the variety of different clients from different backgrounds, ethnicities and lifestyles. It a rewarding challenge, when after listening and comprehend what their wants and needs for their home, to work together as a team, and execute the design program beyond what they ever though possible.

I must say we were impressed with the wow factor Lady E (that's our name for her) brought to the table. I originally thought of a few basic ideas for our home but Edie was able to make every room pop. I actually regret not following her concept for our bedroom. We had the love but not the creativity or time to remix every room.... Edie gave life to our home. She's excellent in expanding an educator's budget and trustworthy. We really appreciated her intuitive sense and ability to connect our differences while maintaining the integrity of several signature pieces.

Working with Edie is the best thing I've ever done. Her innovative contempory chic style helped transform my home from a children's toy box to a 21 century chic home. I love how she incorporated my culture in to the design aswell. Thanks again Edie

We worked with Edith for our renovation back in 2010 and had a great experience! She took all our ideas (images, color and material samples) and made our vision a reality. She has a very warm and welcoming demeanor which helped us feel comfortable and trust her design. She is clearly a passionate and talented designer- we recommend her to all our friends and family!

Hands down the best interior designer I've ever used! Edith has done an excellent job re-designing my office and my living room space to to my preferred ambiance. She followed my taste with the utmost detail while still adding some finishing touches that pulled it all together. Edith is professional both in pre design as well as post design. Everyone I have recommended her to have also been happy and satisfied with her efforts to meet their design needs.

Edi sent me advise and techniques to improve my living space and was readily available to show me in detail how to bring my personality to my living space. She is in Washington and I live in Massechusetts yet Edie was able to video chat and see what there was to work with and also she was able to give constructive criticism and that yielded very beautiful results. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to create beautiful living spaces or very functional and aesthetically pleasing work spaces.

Miss Judith, I will always find a way to do what I love in interior design if that means calculating our time difference and video chatting with you while you move the furniture step by step or brows through the isles at estate sales looking for fun new pieces for your home.   • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    Early on, I realized that some homes made me fell welcome and safe. Some homes didn't have that feeling. I didn't know why I didn't like going to by best friend's house until I was older. I want everyone to have the kind of home you can't wait to come home to. People invite themselves over because it's so welcoming and comfortable and relaxing. Your home is a reflection of yourself and I want to help people enjoy coming home.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Do not hold anything back. I want to know your likes and dislikes and complete project budget and time frame. Your final design depends on it.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    Great design takes time, talent, education, experience, and resources.
