FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Students have the option of either weekly 45-minute private lessons, or weekly 60-minute private lessons. Lessons are billed on a monthly basis. The monthly cost for weekly 45-minute lessons is $160. The monthly cost for weekly 60-minute lessons is $190. Additionally, there is an annual supply fee of $60. This covers the cost of any lesson materials needed for the next year.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All potential students are offered a free trial lesson. It's a great chance to see if studying piano with me is something you'd enjoy. During the trial lesson, we also discuss your musical interests and what you're most interested in studying so that we can come up with a plan that's a good fit for you!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After taking piano lessons since I was five years old, and playing competitively in my junior high and high school years, I studied music in college. I then completed my B.A. at Central Washington University where I studied music theory and composition, piano pedagogy, and piano performance. I am also an active member of both the Washington State Music Teachers Association and the Music Teachers National Association. My involvement in these two organizations enables me continue to develop my skills as a musician and improve my knowledge of piano pedagogy.
