I always wait 6 months to a year to review. This is especially true in construction and remodeling. The bottom line is you should hire these guys. I am almost 59 years old, and I have been doing this for over 3 decades. I've never seen guys work this hard. Not ever. They take their breaks and get right too it. They also come prepared, bringing their lunch instead of disappearing for three hours (unless they have to go to the store).

They handled problems (problems ALWAYS come up if you are remodeling) efficiently and any mistakes (those too WILL happen on difficult remodels) professionally. For example, we encountered some difficulty in getting the new tub in due to this being a 120 year old house, and there was additional framing in the ceiling blocking access and making plumbing angles difficult. It took them a little extra time, and we worked it out right there without all this officious re-bidding/ifs and buts you get when you hire these "glam" contractors.

Another example is I have a large custom 5x6 glass panel that enclosed the shower. I also have a glass door. Normally, when you tear apart your bathroom, these are not salvageable. In my case, I'd be out 5,000 for the glass I have. Other contractors told me "Nah," it won't work. Nevertheless, we spent a little while figuring dimensions, how to remove it without shattering it etc., and they were able to save it and incorporate it into our new master bath. This was exceedingly difficult, and took immense patience. The only thing I have to "deal" with are a few minor scratches, and the rubber gaskets that go with the hinges.

Competitive negotiations with top class work. Came through as soon as I needed them and went above and beyond our project in caring and providing creative value with the painting and wood paneling, outside of the level 5 skim coat with knock down on top floor.
