I hired Josh to do a weekly private yoga class for elderly residents in my adult family home. He is very soothing and adapts his routines to their level of mobility and cognitive ability. He did such a great job that I also hired him to do a private session for myself weekly. He is very professional and takes time to correct and make sure you are doing poses in a healthy way for your body while also pushing your limits. I would definitely recommend his services to others.
I sought a yoga instructor with patience and humility. Lalainya is definitely patient, understanding, positive, & non judgmental. There are other instructors who expect you to be at a certain level of understanding already. As a new student, I find that she is not only understanding but also open to ideas. She welcomes questions as an opportunity to enlighten and share relevant thoughts about the integration of yoga in your overall daily life. If there is any position not held correctly, she will let you know right away. If you seek a knowledgeable, but humble instructor, you will not be disappointed when working with Ms. Rawlings. She listens to your needs, respects/acknowledges your limitations all while encouraging your exploration of self awareness and unlimited potential. This is only my experience and I'm pleased with the results. You will be, too.
Pedal, stretch, and breathe. I am a yoga instructor who focuses on yoga for cyclists. In my class, I am to hold space for students to explore the sensations present in their body with curiosity. I encourage mindful spontaneity with a pinch of playfulness. I believe that yoga and bicycling greatly inform each other on both physical and mental level. Both are great tools for connecting people to their bodies and the present. I want to take my yoga out of the studio and put it on the bike path. It is my hope to bring yoga to more bike rides and riders, showing them how to stretch without a mat and even using your bicycle as a prop.

Crissy has taught me Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga. Hatha is the basic entry level yoga, Vinyasa more advanced, and Yin a slower and deeper stretch. Personal favorites are Vinyasa for a good exercise/sweat and Yin for when I'm feeling tight in the hamstrings / lazy. She is very hands-on, outgoing and friendly, and overall excellent teacher who knows the sanskrit words and proper technique/alignments. The downstairs residential room is great for small and private sessions. Very conveniently located in Woodinville. Highly recommend.

Gina is one of the best yoga instructors I've had. I love her classes and all the dedication she puts on each student. She really teaches how to honor our body and helps with how to improve every posture according on each person's needs. I truly recommend her as your instructor.
