Alyssa helped me with a lot of algebra and helped me get my F to a D in one month. She helped me get through a whole semester in one month. I thinks she's an amazing person and tutor.
Our Experience with our English Tutor, Theodore has been outstanding. Theodore tutors twice a week for us and comes each and every week prepared with a well thought out lesson to meet our specific learning needs. I would recommend Theodore for his English teaching skills for sure, just so long as its not on Tuesday or Thursday evenings between 6 and 7pm. :) Brady
BEST. ACT. TUTOR. EVER.
I found Louisa's tutoring services very helpful and insightful. I'm a Ph.D.student in psychology writing on challenging topics and Louisa was able to provide me sound, constructive feedback on my writing. Some simple exercises during our session provided me tools and new ways to approach the writing in creative ways. I think Louisa has a good ability to evaluate a writer's ability, and then apply the appropriate techniques and lessons to bring the writer along. She did this for me.
My daughter, Sophia needed reading tutoring. Leigh helped her a lot! Sophia was very upset when we had to stop. Leigh is a wonderful teacher.

My 4 years old daughter enjoyed her lessons a lot. Tesesa was always well prepared the teaching materials. She kept a very good relationship with the students and the parents, willing to listen and communicate. She is a teacher full of patience and compassion, and her ways of teaching children are very helpful and easy to understand. She is a wonderful teacher! I highly recommend for Young Readers tutoring service!
Ethan is a great tutor to my 8th grade son. He prepared my son for ACT and SAT tests. Thanks to Ethan, my son got good scores on these tests and was accepted by talented searches like TiP Duke, CTY John Hopkins and Robinson UW. Ethan also provided general consulting about school classes that he recommends to take, interesting magazines and articles. My son started to read Wired and other magazines after Ethan motivated him. Also, Ethan is very responsive and flexible with schedule. His unique benefit that he comes to your place, so you don't need to drive your kiddo anywhere. I highly recommend Ethan for tutoring for SAT/ACT tests, high school prep, math.
Hello! I have a heart for teaching, and I would love to do tutoring in music, writing, language, and computers. I do technical support for an Internet service provider called Skybeam, and so I'm very good with basic technical skills. I'm also in college, working through a primary education degree. I'm very knowledgeable about English and grammar, Microsoft processing, and all aspects of music (I was originally a music major for two semesters and taught music for two years to young students before that), so I have a lot of applicable knowledge in those areas. I'm friendly and fun, and I am willing to tutor whatever way works for you, and I will formulate lessons to fit your needs and learning style.
I have 16 years of experience teaching college students, including many international students, English and reading skills. I prepare them for placement/assessment testing, and I teach effective study skills to get the most out of study time.
Every student is different. And we understand that difference and focus their unique way of learning and understanding through our personalised assessments and programs in all levels and all subjects.

Are you taking the SAT, GED or other tests for school? I can help you assess any areas you need to work on, and show you problem-solving strategies.
My goal as an educator is to help each student find success in math, regardless of past performance or perceived ability. I believe that math takes imagination, and I help my students hone the ability to think creatively. I take great pride in the success of my students, and I look forward to helping you or your student work toward success in math!
My name is Shawn Brookins, and I am currently a biology and chemistry premed double major at Pacific Lutheran University. My long-term career goal is to become a pediatric neurosurgeon, but until then, I enjoy spending my time to inspire appreciation for and success in the sciences and mathematics as well as all common core subjects. My passion for tutoring stems from a deeply rooted belief that one's education is paramount in his or her lifetime towards achieving goals, fulfilling potential, and accessing new opportunities. Allow me to elaborate on my qualifications. I graduated salutatorian of my graduating class of 543 students, with a weighted GPA well above 4.50. During my high school tenure, I completed 8 AP courses, earning the highest honor of AP scholar with distinction. These courses were across an eclectic academic breadth, including calculus, chemistry, English literature and language composition, government, psychology, etc. Currently, I will be taking my second semester of calculus at PLU to fulfill my math requirement for my chemistry degree. Alongside this course load, I operated a successful tutoring business with volunteer tutoring also, totaling well in excess of 500 hours. My availability is quite flexible, so please don't hesitate to ask questions because I am a very flexible person! In closing, thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to hear from you soon! Sincerely, Shawn Brookins
I like to keep things simple. Because I also teach full time, I also make it a point to find new ways to teach concepts so that it's practical for your use.
