Cosmin is great. He communicates well via text/email. He doesn't mind answering any questions I have on the spot, willing to accomodates any reasonable changes I had. He cleaned up his work area very well as well, very satisfied with his work.

TLDR: Do NOT hire this guy unless you want to pay almost double the quoted price to finish the mess. His response, as expected, is a series of baseless accusations and fabrications. His unprofessional conduct is evident, and it is clear that he is not acting in good faith. He is attempting to portray me as the villain by creating falsehoods about the incident and me in order to justify himself. In his reply, he stated that I had unfinished work in the house from other contractors before he started. This is a lie. If there was “unfinished work” from different contractors before he came, why did he fabricate new charges for the “unfinished work” he did not perform? Why does he have to send me a new invoice of $1470 for the “unfinished work” that he never performed? He has no reason to keep the $4000 deposit or impose an additional charge of $1470! ---------------------------------------- Original Review: I hired Ionel Cosmin Marin to remodel the primary bathroom, the hallway bathroom and install kitchen ductwork. 3 projects. Paid $6000 as a total deposit of $2000 for each project. He assured me several times that he knew how to install the roof vent cap for the kitchen ductwork because he was a roofer. He installed the roof vent cap all wrong. Every roofer came to evaluate what he did said it would leak as soon as it started raining. I brought it to his attention, and he got angry and upset. He accused me of not trusting him and decided not to return to continue the job. Now I am left with unfinished work all over the house. Despite his prior assurances for a refund, he also decided to keep the $4000 deposit for the remaining 2 unfinished projects. Worse yet, he sent me another new invoice with additional charges of $1470 that we had no prior agreement on. He is emotionally unstable and impossible to work with. AVOID THIS GUY AT ALL COSTS.

We hired Lonel (TWOCO Construction) to build a 10 ft by 12 ft shed in our backyard. Before starting work, he met with us and we discussed what we wanted and he looked at the building site. He spent a few days researching the cost of materials and provided us with an estimate. Lonel built us a solid (sturdy) shed, 15 percent over the estimated price, that we are sure will last a long time. The quality of the workmanship was very good. He is a conscientious person that strives to insure that his work is of excellent standard. Good communication and open to feedback throughout the process. Thank you Lonel.

On January 6, 2018 I had laminate flooring installed in my condo, approximately 250 sf. The job was completed early and special attention was given to moldings and transitions without even asking. Scheduling was a breeze and communication was excellent. I couldn't be happier! Feel 100% comfortable hiring this contractor, I will use them again.
