The task was monumental. 3 bathrooms, kitchen, 1st floor flooring, and removing an inlaid AC unit in the master bedroom and patching the associated exterior siding. We searched through a lot of thumbtack contractors (almost 10?), trying to find one that assured us of their quality but also at a reasonable price. This was the first major remodel of our lives, and at this scale we felt a lot could go wrong, or that we could get scammed into overpaying. After seeing several of the quotes and options, we easily could’ve. Enter Vital Needs Remodeling. Vitaliy is the first point of contact. For the initial walkthrough, Vitaliy was quick and astute in pointing out gaps in what we were asking for, and amplifying our vision with some good ideas of his own. The price felt fair and after some more of our own due diligence we went with Vitaliy. From there, Vitaliy helped us with the materials we needed to gather in order of use and picked up some of the bulkier ones for us. We needed to match our flooring in the first floor and Vitaliy found a remarkably close one for us which was both amazing and fortunate. Soon after, the project began. Vitaliy mostly handles the business side and project planning, and introduced us to Paul as the lead of the remodeling work itself. Paul is incredible, being able to seemingly do everything, and also has a good eye for the small tweaks here and there that go a long way. His depth of knowledge about code and doing things the right way was very reassuring, and just in general his attention to detail was awesome and hopefully that shines through in the photos. Things moved swiftly, and the end result has been transformative to say the least. Vitaliy maintains the receipts and gives them in full to you to prove the material costs, and also the quote and any change requests that are necessary and these are itemized for you which is appreciated. We maintained a spreadsheet of our own which also proved helpful. As with any project this sized ( I’d imagine ), it was not without some difficulties, and I’ll outline them for transparency. We had a few snags in communication — small mishaps which are normal I think. We had some scheduling related things where we had some back and forth with respect to when work would happen and timeline ( it didn’t help that we had planned a week long vacation in the middle of this project in addition to the looming holiday season ), but after our conversations things righted every time and moved along. Vitaliy is earnest and wants to make things right, and he always tried to if we called anything out. Paul and his team also put in a lot of extra hours/late nights to wrap up sections of work but not in a rushed way to stay as close to schedule as possible. With the scope of this project as big as it was, with work being found in every bathroom, us figuring out what we actually wanted, and with it straddling the holiday season and our vacation, things honestly went pretty smoothly! In the end, we are both relieved and thankful to have gone with Vital Needs Remodeling for this gigantic undertaking. The work simply speaks for itself. We feel so much happier to live in our home, and even learned a lot along the way. Vitaliy was friendly, responsive, and stayed on top of the happenings of project and corrected course as needed, and Paul was a true master of his craft whose work has beautified our home for years to come. Huge thank you to Vitaliy, Paul, and the entire team who transformed this remodel plan into a reality. Thank you!

I have used Vital Needs Remodeling service for installing a new shower door to my unit. Vitaliy and his team is great to work with. They did a high quality job at a very reasonable price. They were courteous and very professional. At one point, there was an issue with alignment of the bottom rails due to the walls not being straight properly. Vitaliy and his team went above and beyond to fix it. I am so happy that I plan to use their company in my future projects as well.
