Theo was very prompt and well-worded in our communications, and set me up with a tutor in my area quickly. I'm looking forward to more of my Japanese language lessons!
Learning English with Rebecca is fun. She started with doing an assessment of my level and adjusted to it, so we could pick up right there with improving my English. In our teaching lessons, we concentrated on different topics, such as idioms, and had different study books that I used for my homework as well. Thanks to Rebecca, I could expand my vocabulary and grammar. During the conversations with her that are part of her teaching, she kindly corrected mistakes I made what helped me to improve as well. She is a very nice person that creates a good atmosphere, what is an enjoyable experience and helped me in improving my English. In addition to educating the language itself, she also tried to impart additional information for example about the country and region where I live now to better acquaint myself with the environment. I can recommend her as teacher.
Louisa has been a great tutor for me and I very much enjoyed the time editing my application essays with her. As a non-native speaker, I did not have any communication problems with her. She is really patient and thoughtful: She would read through my writing and make sure to grasp my main arguments points before we get started to make any editings. In this way, I felt confident that my essays would convey my original points. Also, I learned a lot on how to improve my essays to become more concise, coherent and interesting to read. Besides editing the my grammer mistakes, she takes time to correct word choice, sentence structure and the whole paragraph strucure. She really helped me on getting my ideas across the board. I would recommend her to other non-native speaker students who wants to improve their writing skills in English. You would spend a good time working with her.
Scott is tutoring me in ESL and I am very happy that he teaches me. He is very professional and patient. He answers text messages and calls immediately. It makes fun to learn English with him.
I had a good beginners foundation in Spanish. What I wanted the most was practice with conversation. Lisa has been an excellent teacher for that. Her explanations are easy to understand, she speaks at a speed I can keep up with, all the conversations are useful because we talk about ordinary things - family, shopping, eating, etc. I learn a lot of common idioms and short phrases that I didnt learn in classes such as !Cuidate! and !buena suerte! Little things like that build confidence for me. She also does a good job in teaching new subjects like more verb tenses, para vs por, etc
Lynn is a great instructor. She fixes the root of the problem patiently. I am glad we are working with her.
I had one lesson with Erin and I am very much satisfied.
Piyush is absolutely wonderful and is great with kids! My son looks forward to going to him and get his English lessons. He also does his homework without any fuss. From everything I can see it is a great environment and learning center for kids!!
Laura gave me online training for non-native English speakers who want to improve their English and also become able to use advanced communication methods in English. I did 2 lessons per week during 5 weeks. Working with Laura was a very nice original and meaningful experience. Learning English this way is delighting and efficient ! I learned about myself and learnt english at same time. We also used relaxing and visualisation methods during the class, it was new to me but so great ! Sometimes online class can be terrible when Skype doesn't work well or when I could not install some tech tools. I would not say that today I'm fully self confident and high level in English but definitely this experience improved my English language skills, maybe I should have done more hours. Thank you Laura ! The experience was amazing !
Our Experience with our English Tutor, Theodore has been outstanding. Theodore tutors twice a week for us and comes each and every week prepared with a well thought out lesson to meet our specific learning needs. I would recommend Theodore for his English teaching skills for sure, just so long as its not on Tuesday or Thursday evenings between 6 and 7pm. :) Brady
