Kris was on time and very knowledgeable and thorough with his inspection. We walked through the house with him and we learned many things about our home and the inspection process. He sent us a detailed report the same day and he has been a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!
I never used Thumbtack before but tried it when experienced a bad odor from underneath our kitchen. Stop Bugging Me were the first to respond for an online bid and were the best price. All technicians were booked that day so sent out their manager. Although couldn't find dead animal - source of bad odor, they did notify me of options to dealing with rat infestation and even referred me to a competitor who would charge less for under house clean-out. I appreciated his honesty. I was even more pleased with follow up visit from a technician. He was quick and VERY knowledgeable. He even provided suggestions for an unrelated problem. Both manager and technician were upbeat, knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend this company Stop Bugging Me. (The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is because I was still left with the bad odor and no removal of the cause after the first visit with Christmas happening the same week).
Brown Dog Home Inspections was professional, accommodating with schedules and did a thorough job on the inspection. A complete report along with supporting pictures. I would highly recommend Rob and his staff!
I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Chris Martin @ API Home Inspection services a couple of months ago, prior to purchasing my new home. Chris arrived on time and I found him to be a very personable man who didn’t mind my asking questions about the home repair issues he had quickly discovered. Chris is very knowledgeable, detailed and thorough. I will definitely request his services in the future as well as recommend API Home Inspection to my family & friends. Tim Fall City, WA
Brian did a great job inspecting the home we are purchasing. Answered any and all questions we had and explained a few things along the way. Extremely good prices and does more work then guys double his price. I will refer ID Northwest Home Inspections to all I know needing an inspection.
A-Clean Chimney & Contracting provided prompt, efficient, excellent service inspecting and cleaning the chimney and fireplace. Very high quality work and courteous customer service.
Rick was punctual, efficient, affordable and professional. I would highly recommend hiring Blackburn Home Inspection for your home inspection needs. Fast turn-around with his reporting and was a wonderful experience. Thank you for making this so simple and easy, Rick!
Ron did an excellent job on our new construction home. He was on time and very thorough. He spent about 5.5 hrs when others would have spent 2 hrs. I like the way his report sheet laid out the items in color priority with photos. He caught things and the builder will be fixing the items before we sign, the roof, a build up of water, slope grades of gutters, and caulking around our sink, plus misc little things. I appreciate his hard work and will be using him again if needed in the future! Very reasonable. (I got 10 estimates total from others) If you are buying and building a new home, you MUST get a private inspector. Super glad we listened to this advice as first time home buyers. Thanks Ron for your hard and detailed work!
I was given a 2 hour time window and Chris arrived at the start of that window. He did troubleshooting for my fireplace and explained what was going wrong with it as well as cleaning it out and fixing it up. The thing works perfectly now! Highly recommend.
Great job. Thorough inspection and quick turnaround.
Ed was great, very thorough and took his time and went over every inch of the house. He was very good at explaining things that I didn’t quite understand so I could speak confidently with the seller and contractors. Will definitely use him the next time I need a home inspection. I would recommend him to anyone considering the purchase of a house.
The guys insulated my attic and installed vents. It's been a day and I already feel the difference in my house retaining heat! They were in and out in about 3 hours.
Working with this group was very positive! The results of their work made a positive difference in the air-quality of our home. I would work with them again!
Troy does an amazing job. He has saved me from purchasing properties that would have resulted in losses for me. A great home inspector who tells the truth and has great insight for investors and first time home buyers alike.
I have used Epilogue Home Inspection a number of times, and Jeff does a thorough job of inspecting the home and getting a thorough and easy to read report out quickly. He also finds a way to fit me into his schedule, sometimes on short notice!
Showed up on time and appeared knowledgeable. His timely and detailed inspection was useful during the home purchase and negotiation process. Only concern: The inspector started a few minutes early and prior to my arrival so I was not present during his inspection of the roof. I didn't see a ladder in use at any time, though this may have occurred prior to my arrival.

I am a Washington state-licensed home inspector, license #341. I have been working as a home inspector since 2003. When you hire me, I will perform a detailed inspection of all of the systems and components in your home and provide a detailed written report to you of any problems. I provide very detailed descriptions without any contractor jargon, along with digital photographs and recommendations for how to correct the problem. I am also licensed as a structural pest inspector, which not all home inspectors are. This gives me the ability to inspect for termites, carpenter ants, wood-boring beetles and other wood-destroying organism. I perform inspections between Everett and Tacoma, but will go farther, depending on the situation. I inspect condominium units, mobile homes, townhouses, houses, and multifamily housing. I also perform new construction inspections. Established in 2003, Lasswell Home Inspection LLC was founded by me, John Lasswell, and I have been working full-time as a home inspector ever since. In 2005, I trained as a FEMA disaster inspector and maintain that certification and am prepared to deploy, should a major disaster strike the Pacific Northwest. In 2010, I became licensed with the EPA as a certified repair remodeling and painting instructor and now teach certification classes for contractors to work with lead-based paints in pre-1978 housing. I am currently teaching 1 to 2 classes per month.
