Travis researched in advance to figure out the best approach to meet our requirements for the mounting job. He was prompt in communication and sought input from us rather than considering this a just a run of the mill job.

Work was completed in a Professional Manner, there were a few obstacles to overcome during the process; however, Travis did remedy and completed the job as required.

Thank you Handyman Rescue Team! Our basement flooded (with sewage - eeeeesh!) last fall. Once mitigated with flood cuts, dehumidifiers, carpet/linoleum removal, Handyman Rescue Team came in and worked with us to rebuild everything better than it was before, but ALSO identified and replaced 4 leaky plumbing valves on our washer and utility sink, when they moved them to replace the flooring. They also replaced old hoses when they reconnected them, mitigating another potential water disaster in the future! Carlos has a great design eye and helped me pick superior replacement materials (vinyl plank floor in place of linoleum, and better carpeting from a different vendor).I love that Carlos and his assistant could do EVERYTHING that needed to be done to rebuild, so we didn't have to work with multiple contractors. Everything started on time and was completed in 6 days, as estimated. The only price change was minimal for the extra plumbing, which I could see with my own eyes needed to be done, and approved pricing with Travis before this work was added. Highly recommend!

Thank you so much for the great review Michelle, I will share with Carlos as well. It was a pleasure working with you, keep us in mind for your next project!

Travis was amazing. My wall did not have the usual 16 inch vertical studs. Travis was patient and it took a long time to find the correct anchor points for my TV mount.

TV wall mount, Travis is a knowledgable handyman. Got bit confused when he discovered that the studs behind my dry wall were of steel but not wood. He explored few options but got a way out. Overall, mounted my TV well. It was just that he took more time (~2hours) than I expected.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer transparent, scope-based pricing that reflects the complexity of your project, not just hourly labor. All quotes include a detailed breakdown of labor, materials, and timeline expectations. We’re happy to adjust scopes to fit your budget, and we never tack on surprise fees. Our goal is to deliver quality work with clear expectations — no fine print, no fluff.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by asking five essential questions:
1. Photos of the project
2. Zip code or project address
3. Your budget
4. Timeline for completion
5. Details specific to your scope
Once we have this, we build your estimate, schedule a walkthrough if needed, and assign a licensed trade specialist to your job. From day one, you’ll receive clear communication, a written Scope of Work, and our Crafted with Care Commitment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team includes licensed general and specialty contractors with certifications in construction management, project planning, and code compliance. As owner, I bring over 30 years of business leadership along with licensed general contracting credentials in Washington State. We stay up to date with Seattle and Puget Sound permitting, safety standards, and manufacturer training programs for every trade we offer.
