John Crumley says, "Devin and Isaac are hands down the best/easiest GC's I've ever worked with.Over the course of the last three years I've had them add a mudroom, completely remodel my kitchen, add an attached garage with attic space, completely re-roof / reside / paint both my main house and my detached unit in the back.I have had them add a full driveway with drainage systems that lead to my backyard The systems are also tied to all of the new gutter systems that were installed as my house was re-roofed.Throughout the entire course of all of these actions Devin was fully involved and always available for my questions and thoughts along the way Most of the time he would beat me to the punch with ideas and thoughts that worked out nicely for us.As everything was wrapping up Devin gave me plenty of time to review with my Wife all actions completed and allowed us plenty of opportunities to point out any and all things that did not meet our expectation and the few small things that we did find he had them addressed right away for us.I have referred Devin and his team to multiple friends and family and they have all been very happy as well! Now I am looking to have him and his team install a bathroom addition for us this spring/summer and I can't wait to work with him again! It always feels good having somebody you can trust!I will post a few photos but honestly as nice as they look it's still doesn't quite do justice to the huge differences/improvements that were made to our home. Thanks again Devin!- John"See more

Kristina H. says, "IWe worked with Mike and his team at Kedem Home Builders for a bathroom remodel. (Ripped everything out, swapped toilet and sink location, added recessed cabinet area, new tub, tile, and floors) They did such a great job and worked incredibly fast! They were also very helpful to reinstall our toilet each day since this was our only bathroom. The same crew of guys worked on our project the whole time and they did everything so there was no time wasted. They kept everything tidy and we are so happy about the way everything turned out. Really appreciative of the work everyone did and would happily use them again and recommend them to others!"See more

Mark Derry says, "Recently had water damage in a bedroom from a leaky pipe in the wall. Cascade NW responded quickly to request for help. They did a very detailed inspection in the room, wall, garage, crawl space below the house, attic space and the roof. They found a secondary source of water that was entering the same. wall. They are very thorough in inspection and provided photos of everything they had located. They also produced a very detailed description of their plans to restore the room and eliminate all water sources causing the water event. Quality control at all levels is their goal and it is very obvious. This is a construction company you can trust to be honest and deliver the product you are requesting."See more

FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

There are several great options for waterproof basement flooring. For example, epoxy floors are waterproof but are thicker and sturdier than paint. Make sure the concrete substrate has been prepared for application.

Tile is a designer’s dream, giving you a moisture-resistant surface that’s infinitely customizable. Rubber sheets or tiles are also good waterproof options, particularly for playrooms, workout areas or laundry rooms.

Vinyl tiles and planks imitate wood or other materials very convincingly, provide moisture resistance and last a long time. And sheet vinyl is affordable and a great waterproofing solution for those in need of quick fixes.

They did a great job helping finish our basement. When they came to do the quote, they asked about many details that other contractors didn’t pay attention to, which helped the whole project go smoothly. Finished on time, no surprises and it looks great!

We recently finished a basement remodel with Joe and DeMarco Builders, and they've been incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the process. Although our project was smaller than some of his others, Joe has still made us feel like a priority and always makes time for us. His staff is professional and hardworking, and Joe has a great eye for taking a project from concept all the way through to completed design. He had a great visions for the space, but left room for our ideas and opinions.

The result was a beautifully finished basement that is now nicer than the rest of our house! They won't be the cheapest quote you get, but their work is of excellent quality. If you're looking for a good design-build contractor, we highly recommend them.

Joe and his team work very quickly and professionally, and they don't cut corners on quality. My basement turned out much better than I had ever imagined and Joe even helped with the colors, flooring, and tile. I definitely recommend him for your job if you are looking for good quality and hard workers!!

Luis and crew put a new bathroom in the basement of my 113 year old house. Luis is very knowledgeable and took care of the whole job from start to finish. Luis is great to work with, as are his hardworking team. I highly recommend Luis and will certainly use him for future projects, as well as recommending him to my friends and neighbors.

Wendy Boso LLC
Wendy Boso LLC
I cannot recommend Wendy highly enough—she is truly exceptional! From our very first conversation about my basement remodel project, I knew she was the perfect fit. Wendy stood out immediately with her honesty and transparency, taking the time to identify potential challenges, such as the stairs, that others had overlooked. Her communication throughout the project was outstanding; she kept me informed every step of the way, ensuring I was always in the loop.

What truly sets Wendy apart, though, is not just her expertise but also the incredible team she works with. Every subcontractor she brought on board was skilled, passionate, and took immense pride in their work. It was clear they genuinely enjoyed what they did, and that reflected in the quality of the finished project. If you’re looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, and a pleasure to work with, Wendy is the absolute best choice!
