Molding or baseboards,
Chris did a really good job and was very responsive to what we needed. I'd recommend him for other "handyman" jobs; he seems to be very versatile.Sep 14, 2018Verified
Chris arrived early and worked above and beyond what we were expecting. I did not fully understand the complexity of the job and gave him the wrong description. Chris ran to Home Depot for us and also returned what we didn't use. Trustworthy, honest and diligent. We will hire him again!Sep 28, 2018VerifiedWork of Art Co.'s reply
Thanks Heather, thats very nice of you to say. It was my pleasure, and I'm looking forward to working for you in the future!
A great experience working with Chris! He installed ceiling trim and my new house numbers. I’ll definitely hire him again for more projects.Sep 5, 2018VerifiedWork of Art Co.'s reply

Chris had a difficult time estimating the hours it would take to complete the job. In the future, I would get a cost estimate vs. hours. What was "a day" estimate (approx $480) turned out to be closer to $700. It would have cost more except I had a conversation about the length of time to complete and my displeasure with his miscommunication with me about the # of hours. As a true professional, he finished the job the next day and didn't charge me. He is a very nice person and does good work.Dec 8, 2018Verified
Great experience so far with Work of Art Construction Co. Scheduled time to disassemble a gazebo. He arrived on time and got the job sooner then expected. Asked him to install some closet shelving at a different property and he got that done, too. Very professional and responsive.Sep 14, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I can hard bid the job ***typically for longer, bigger jobs*** which I ask for 50% down at the beginning and the remainder when completed. My hard bids include materials. However if in the case of un for seen complications, the possibility of additional costs may ensue. All of which will be communicated and addressed with you promptly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I generally like to meet the customer where the work is to be completed. Assess the scope and labor and answer any questions you might have.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? Most of my knowledge has been acquired threw hands on training with experienced craftsman. I have worked the retail side of the home improvement for a number of years which greatly instilled a wealth of know how in the field.
