FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new student, the first step is a free consultation/intro call (30 minutes). During this call, I will be able to understand my student's strengths and struggle areas in math. We will then work on scheduling and frequency of sessions per week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken multiple tutoring trainings at the University of Wisconsin - Parkside Tutoring Center. I have also trained many incoming math tutors. I got my Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Wisconsin - Parkside. At UW-Parkside, I worked as a lead math tutor in the tutoring center and also worked as one of my Calculus professor's assistant, helping with grading student's tests and providing study sessions during exams.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My tutoring career started at the University of Wisconsin - Parkside tutoring center in 2009, during my freshman year.
