- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's quite straight forward: how many days, how many pets, any special requirements such as diet, medications etc., mileage, plants and watering & feeding schedule, yard watering, poop scooping as many of the people I work for have someone who comes in to do that or the gardners do it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read a lot of advice and answers to problems usually from different veterinarians. There is no formal continuing education for house sitting.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As favors for friends and deciding it's fun and requires innovative thinking.
