Introduction: I am a freelance photographer with 18 years' experience and a degree in photojournalism from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. After spending 5 years of my life in a darkroom, making prints from black-and-white film that I had shot, intense critiques from industry leaders and growing my skills and passion in photography in San Francisco, I graduated in 2002 and began Fire Eyes Photography.
I have intense technical knowledge about the camera to help you understand how to take great photographs in manual mode. Helping you understand depth of field, aperture, lenses, color space, color temperature, printing and much more, is my specialty.
I love to teach and am great at it. I offer intensive one-on-one workshops, either 2 or 4 hours at a time, that are customized to meet you where you are at and help you grow from there. You'll be very happy with the knowledge you have when you walk away from our few hours together. Multiple workshop sessions are available as well, depending on what and how much you are looking to learn.
I have other websites of my documentary and event work to share as well.
