- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of the Northwest Alliance of Psychoanalytic Study where I currently take classes and take part in study groups to continue learning with other psychotherapists.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My own curiosity about my story and how I got to be who I am was what directed me to this line of work. In order to help others, I first needed to help myself.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Psychotherapy is a very intimate relationship. You want to find someone that you feel comfortable with, who you feel as though you could build relationship with. There are many therapists out there, so find the one that is best for you.
