Sai S. says, "They were quick in scheduling an onsite estimate and offered free onsite estimates while several other charge a fee. They provided a reasonable estimate of the cost for fixing the issue. The technician who arrived was knowledgeable and explained the issue and how he was going to fix it. He fixed it in a timely manner. A different plumber who visited for an estimate charged me for the estimate and mentioned he needs the building water to be shut off to do the work. I was waiting for HOA approval to shut off water for the building. Meanwhile, the technician from Jim Dandy was able to fix the leak without having to shut off water for the whole building. I think that was smart thinking from the technician to shut off hot water to the faucet by just cutting off the supply from water heater (since the issue was only with the hot water valve under the faucet). Thanks for that!"See more

Most recently, I called Raptor Plumbing after seeing water coming out of the ground when we ran the kitchen faucet. I called on a Saturday and someone answered the phone, booked a visit for Monday, and gave me a quote same day for the problem (sewer drain had collapsed about 5 feet underground so became a multi-day fix). Although it was a much bigger plumbing issue than I had hoped, Grayson and team did a great job. Always arrived as promised (texted when on the way), spent the day onsite doing the work (not disappearing to other jobs), and worked hard to get the drain pipe replaced as quickly as possible. I appreciate Raptor Plumbing's quick responsiveness, reliability, and straight-forward communication of the issues (they always provided pictures from scoping the drain) and pricing. The work was going to require drywall repair; so, Adam coordinated with the required expert, and all the work was done just 2 days later. My sewer pump stalled after I returned from vacation. I reached out to Evergreen Underground and got a response within a few minutes. They showed up the next morning and got to work diagnosing the issue. They quickly determined that the float which turns on the pump had greased over preventing its operation. After 15 minutes of hosing the mechanism down I once again had a functional sump pump. The men from Evergreen Underground were super professional and didn’t even want to charge me for the work given the ultimately simple fix. I’d definitely hire them again for another plumbing / sewer issue!

I was out of town when my renter let me know that the sump pump had stopped working & water was all over the laundry room!! So went to my Thumbtack app & (after reading many good reviews) put in a request for help w/Chris's Plumbing. It was after hours when I did so but around 8am the next morning I received a reply & was told they could send someone out that day to give me an estimate & was even able to choose the best time for my renter. They arrived as scheduled & when I arrived later that afternoon I was pleasantly surprised w/the estimate. My renter said they were available to fix it the next day if I wanted to do so (no pressure) . So I put in a request on the app but since it was after office hours again I decided to call the number for Chris (which was on my Estimate Invoice). Chris answered & he scheduled for my sump pump to be replaced the next day at the most convenient time for my renter. Brandon & Greg were both great & did a fabulous job. I highly recommend Chris's Plumbing!!
