FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $110.00 per 50-55 minute session and $135 per 75 minute session. Some insurance companies will reimburse a percentage of my fee but I don't bill insurance providers directly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we meet for a free 25 minute consultation to talk about how we would work together, ask and answer questions, discuss fees scheduling and decide whether or not we would be a good fit. We usually start off with weekly sessions, then eventually move to every other week or monthly checkins when sufficient progress has been made. This process is different for each person I see.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's degree in clinical psychology, specializing in counseling. I admit to being a psychology and brain science nerd and am always pursuing education and training in various forms of individual and couples therapy, neuropsychology/neuroboilogy, and the habits and strategies that help people to be happy and resilient.
