Kari catered and organized every aspect of our non-profits' recent fund raising dinner. From planning and preparing the menu, designing and sending invitations, advertising the event, decorating and reserving the venue, collecting and setting up the items for the silent and live auction and booking the auctioneer,and live entertainment, Kari did it all! She searched our area for the venue that would be most suitable, and booked us in at THE CREATE Center in Newport WA. When I walked in the day before the event I was amazed and impressed at the transformation she had wrought. The tables were elegant with alternating black and white cloths, and centerpieces for each one. The art work for the auction was displayed attractively and the buffet table was easy to access and well appointed. She had thought of every last detail and the next day everything went off without a hitch. An organizational triumph! And we mustn't forget the sumptuous feast that was prepared! A wide variety of choices were available and each was more enticing than the the last. Our guests agreed with people returning for second and even third helpings. I have had the privilege to transform a barn into a rustic chic reception, have a couple get married on the lake on a charter boat, created an elegant, summer wedding luncheon at a Beachouse and had fireworks in the sky on New Years Eve. In addition, I am a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and hold the designation of Accredited Bridal Consultant with them, the only one in Idaho This designation was received after a peer reviewed process and evaluation of my training, dedication to the wedding industry and reviewing the work I have done The more off beat request and creativity that goes into a wedding the more I enjoy planning that wedding. Although of course we have done weddings where there is a ballroom and traditional church, we welcome the challenge of the non-traditional couple.
