Passport to Travel with Jackie Kojac

Introduction: I write travel content for travel companies for their website and also content and critic for hotels worldwide that I have visited. Example: I woke up at 5:00 AM because outside my window, there were screaming monkeys. I sat up in bed with my heart pounding. My roommate sat up and yelled "What's that awful noise?" It took me a couple of seconds to realize where I was. Oh yes, we had arrived the night before by river in our longboat to our jungle lodge deep into the Tortuga National Park in Costa Rica. Grabbing my shorts and T-shirt and running a brush through my hair, I was ready for my wonderful Costa Rican coffee, which usually at home I use cream and sugar, but with their coffee, I use none. Outside our room on our porch, there were several large lizards lurking in the nearby bushes. We were careful not to disturb them as we made our way to breakfast. There was a light drizzle which did not bother us as it was warm and a little humid. We were anxious to start our morning boat excursion up the river. There were many beautiful birds singing to us on our way.
