Introduction: I would say my work stands out because of the wealth of material that I use and the preparation that I put into my lessons. I have taught out of many guitar books but don't necessarily stick to one book lesson after lesson. I have a lot of material and exercises that I have written and when the situation calls for a fresh approach I write a new exercise. The thing I like most is when a student comes to some new realization or reaches a new level of playing. It is wonderful to see the excitement of someone who is advancing in their musical journey.

My son, Reece, has been taking guitar lessons from Tony for over a year and a half. Reece thinks that Tony is kind and encouraging. He introduces my son to many different types of music. Tony shows him a variety of styles of playing guitar. He stretches my son and expects great things out of him. He is a versatile teacher, he has worked with my son on electric, acoustic, and classical guitar. As a parent I appreciate that Tony is a great communicator. If my son is sick or if we have to be out of town, he's quick to respond and schedule make up lessons. Reece said, "Tony is very knowledgable and is able to answer any questions that I might have. If he doesn't know the answer, which rarely happens, he comes back the next week having full knowledge of anything regarding that topic." Overall our experience with Tony has been fantastic. I highly recommend him as a music teacher.

My daughter's been taking lessons with Tony since September 2014. After her first lesson she was able to play an entire song and has only progressed from there. She recently started learning the electric guitar. I highly recommend Tony.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to make a living doing something that I loved. Sharing music with others is truly rewarding and I just couldn't see myself doing anything else.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently got two of my more advanced students together to play some duets and trios that I had played in guitar ensemble in college. They are learning the material well, and it is exciting to see them play material that I was learning in college.
